Video - All Courts
[To anyone familiar with Damon's office in Raven's Wing (or who's gotten a call from him while he's been in it), they'll recognize the surroundings as the locket clears and the video is visible. He's even wearing a smile, though it's a little worn around the edges.]
Still here, much to the dismay of some of you, I'm sure. But it seems that whatever the cause, not only was I brought back to this whole new world, but so were my holdings. The spire, the town, the Oasis... yes, kiddies, you heard that right. Your favorite vacation spot is still up and running. For those of you with hunks of that stupid rock in their chest still, access is as easy as stepping through a fairy ring. For those without... I'm just finishing up the new port, as it seems that our location has shifted dramatically.
[The image bounces as Damon gets up, moving out of the office and over to the balcony. He shifts the locket so that those looking through it can see.]
Yes, that's right, that's the ocean you see. Because I'm now on an island in the middle of goddamn nowhere. Well, not exactly nowhere, but for anyone that's ever been north, living on an island that's a desert climate when there's an iceberg in spitting distance is... a little odd. But, for anyone who needs it, The Oasis is here for your rest and relaxation needs. We're still set up for those with a more hemoglobin diet, including underground residences, and as the only staff I've dragged with me was Fernando, I could use more workers. Pass the word around. I have.
[There may have been notices slapped up in outlying towns on the larger mainlands, Damon able to travel quickly via both fairy ring and his flock form. But the call had ulterior motives.]
Anyone else that is maybe wondering what happened or where I am... well, now you know.
[[LOCKED TO DAENERYS]]
There's still plenty of room here with your name on it, if you're in the mood for a visit... If you're even here still.
[Nope. Not looking needy at all.]

Private forever
[She's smiling, teasing, and that's better than sulking. Sulking's his job, anyways.]
However, I wouldn't say no to making it hotter still. We do run a little cooler. I could need a little... jump start.

[ She doesn't shy away from the obvious flirtation, but she does remember how lonely she had been atop her pyramid. I am no queen here, she reminds herself. After so long back in Meereen, the thought is as daunting as it is tempting. How freeing it would be, to discard the second nature that tells her what is fitting for a queen and what is not.
She hesitates, considering. It is not so easy to discard her kind of armor. ]
My dragons have grown, and here they cannot fly as they would wish. [ She gestures to the veritable wall of trees and sunrays outside her window. ] Did your livestock return as well, or must I bring them hunting here?

[She's acting more careful than usual, more thoughtful around him, as if she's unsure of something. He doesn't like that.
The question has him smiling, though, propping his head up on his hand and waggling his brows at her.]
We've got livestock here from the town, but ordering in some cattle or... whatever your flying lizard babies want to munch on is feasible. I did build a port, after all.

[ She hadn't shied from the Unseelie High-King, but it had been Morla who'd spoken with her directly. Reul had always seemed as though he was one perceived insult away from beheading them all, and she knew well what madness did to reason. She'd seen it in Viserys. ]
If he relies only upon your imports, Drogon shall eat your gold and leave it to rot before nightfall. [ Unqueenly translation: He'll eat it, and shit it out. ] Show me your Oasis, and they'll seek better prey in the desert.

[Kings, Queens, whatever. The whole lot of them could just get bent. They'd sucked him back to this world, back here yet again and even further away from whatever goal it was to put that fucking shard together. They were in it, and now they were thousands of years before that time, Damon relegated to being forever away from home. It sucked balls.]
Past the desert portion is tundra and I haven't had anyone do scouting beyond it. For all I know, there could be big fat dragon fodder there for them to feat on. Or other dragons.

He likes her well enough, but she has never known him to speak fondly of anyone here. Perhaps the ones he has liked are gone, or perhaps he has not yet come to terms with his lot. ]
All the same, a baron should know what passes through his lands. [ She rests an arm upon her windowsill, considering. It's treacherously easy to forget what she wishes to do here, around him. It always has been. ] One day, you must travel with me, [ she commands, deciding. ] When I am done exploring your spire, I will want to see what lies beyond your town.
[ She'll visit. ]

[A smile now, and a knowing look in his eyes as he makes a show of trying to see below what the locket will show him.
He rolls those eyes at the light reprimand.]
It's an island. I'm not overly concerned about Gigantor the Trollface pounding through here. If something's rotten in Denmark, I'll find it and kill it. Problem solved.
But, you're welcome to do all the exploring you want. Of anything in the spire, too. Careful examination is a plus.

[ His names are always utterly ridiculous, and this one prompts sheer incredulity. ]
There is no need to ruin good meat. I shall have Gigantor roasted and fed to my children. [ She focuses on him with a closer, more scrutinizing look then, sitting back in her chair. She might be mistaken for surveying a fine painting, if not for the way her gaze seems to darken to a deeper violet. She is a queen, and though she isn't a queen here, she feels as though the luxury of choice is hers all the same. ]
Suppose it is not your spire I want to explore tonight.

Well, we could always call it my spire. I can get it to stand upright...

Good. [ There's that deceptive sweetness again. She knows well that she's beautiful, that she's wanted. She did not manage to tempt her captain in Meereen, and now she's been stolen away to the Drabwurld a second time. It angers the dragon in her to concede defeat, yet passion would soothe it, she thinks--if only for a night. It is only one night I need, she tells herself, but some voice whispers that the other time had only been one night, as well. ] You will make room for me at your Oasis tonight. If I return to Meereen, my advisors will tell me I must marry. Remind me ... [ she pauses, thinking. ] Remind me that I have no need of it here.

[His grin was wicked and teasing, but there was still heat in his eyes. He had his own memories he wanted to forget. His own future that sucked metaphorical balls that he needed to put out of his mind while he was stuck here.]
