[When he uses the locket, it's easy enough to remember how to use it, once they are back. He wasn't sure if it might work with all the world hopping and travel earlier with the Gem, but now they seem to be back, it's worth a try. Sora's familiar spiky hair and blue eyes greet the audience, though he's lost more of that slight lingering chubbiness around his cheeks, his features more defined than they were before. As if some more time has passed for him. Which. He's getting to, after giving a wave.]
Hey everyone! I'm still not quite sure just what all happened there. Seems at least some of us decided to stay home rather than stick around here too. Or, Riku did. So he's taking care of things there while I stick around here. That and I know I remembered a lot more of what happened back home. I'm not sure if that happened to anyone else, but....I think that was possibly a good couple years I got caught up on there. Of course, I was asleep for one of them..... Who else is still around anyway? Terra? Xion? I guess I kind of lost track of a lot of people in all that. Everyone's okay, right?
[Or. He sure hopes so. It's hard to say, when some people might have wanted to stay home, or been reminded how much they might prefer the Drabwurld to home, rather than feeling more a sense of duty and curiosity like Sora. As much as he misses home himself after all this time away. He gives a shrug, rubbing at the back of his neck as he continues.]
But anyway, seems like a lot has changed around here. Gonna take a while to get used to.
[For all of them. Still. For now, it's something. A chance to adjust and possibly even change things for the better. "Your actions influence all.", that man had said.]
Still, together we can figure this out! I'm sure of it.
[So if he is a little nervous or worried, or even lost, he's not outright showing it. Not yet anyway. Instead he gives a resolute nod before ending the feed and taking stock of his surroundings once more.]

I will hope that he is, and remember him in my prayers. It is rare to meet someone with a spirit such as his. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
( Something else of note is confirmed here: he knows Xion and Sir Terra. She hums beneath her breath, and graces him with a faint smile. )
I can attempt to make contact with Xion, if needed. She is as a younger sister to me. I would also know that she is safe.
This world is new, and yet very, very old. If one listens to the gossip, they can tell. Our previous leaders are alive, but much younger. It seems as though we have fallen through time.
That might bode very well for us, if we seize the opportunity we are presented with. Together, as you say.

[Because after everything, if anyone can manage and handle what is to come, his best friend can. If there's one thing Sora will always believe in, it's his friends. It's Riku. Sora gives a resolute, confident nod at this.]
I guess this wouldn't be the first time any of us experienced time travel with all that earlier. But....even back home. I wonder what this means. I guess....we have another chance. To change things for the better now. To stop the monarchs from fighting like that in the first place.

( And she, too, knows that he will achieve all that and more. She remembers well the kindness he'd shown toward the banshee they had helped together. Softly, she sighs, and nods her head once. )
To date, I have seen two possible outcomes of my own future, and this time not within a vision. Such phenomena seem possible here if not beyond the borders of this world.
( Again, she nods. ) Precisely. I would put an end to that quarrel ere it might begin, but we must listen, and travel, and know more of the state of this realm. After all we have been through, I care not for the quarrels of gods. If these shards we bear truly represent the life of our homes, we cannot fail.
no subject
[Or, he will, if he recalls any of this once he himself returns, anyway. It's what she says next that piques his interest, tilting his head a little.]
Possible outcomes of the future? I don't know about that. But....I do remember more now than I did last time I first came here. But you're right, if we travel and figure out more, I'm sure we can manage something to help.

( That enthusiasm earns him another little smile. )
Both differed as night does from day, and are entirely possible should I ever find myself returned whence I came. That knowledge is valuable, as learning of this world will be invaluable. Knowledge can be as great a power to wield as that strangely-shaped sword you and Xion and Sir Terra all possess.
Do you recognise your surroundings at all? It seems as though there is far more territory than we might remember there having been previously.
no subject
[Even Sora, not the most academic back home and having missed quite a bit of school in his adventuring and saving worlds can agree to that though. That knowledge, learning all they can from this and all other worlds is important.]
It's definitely valuable! But this isn't a sword. It's called a 'keyblade'. The three of us and Riku all have them. But we aren't the only ones. If you do hear from either of them though, let me know? I guess we all sort of lost track of each other before. And I'm not sure if any of this is familiar, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.
[He is used to that much at least. Being to different worlds all the time back home and all. So he gives her a reassuring smile as he brushes off the concern, touching as it is.]

[It's a bit of relief for him to see Sora, and it shows on his face as he relaxes once the image over the locket is a bit clearer. They've been through some things in the past couple of months and though Terra isn't sure about some things anymore, he does know that their little family keeps getting smaller. Having seen Riku home himself, he's at least sure of where the younger wielder ended up. Terra's a little hesitant, then he asks.]
Have you heard from Xion yet?

[The Courts are all rather different in comparison. He's not sure how filtered and restricted this might be now, and last time she was in the Unseelie so wouldn't have been able to see anything he tried to put up on the network. Still, this is worth a try at least.]
The courts and the land seem really different now. So I'm not sure where she might be if she is still here. For me, there's all this ice...
[He's still not sure if it might melt. So much more used to the warmer tropic weather of the Islands. But it is impressive.]
no subject
I'm in the Greenwood, so it's not so far from where Caer Glaem used to be at least. [Familiar territory was a blessing.] The Garnet Coalition's taken me in. What about you?
[He's worried that they're split up. Sora speaks of a place that's definitely not the Greenwood. At the very least, there doesn't seem to be as much war going on as there was in the future.]
no subject
[Or. Something like that. Even if he too is fretting a little on Xion's situation. At least he knows what happened with Riku. It's others he wants confirmation on. And it isn't as if he isn't used to traveling to different worlds, so he's sure he'll manage well enough until he can meet up with at least Terra if not her as well. Find plenty to do in the meantime as usual.
Completely ignoring that exploring is probably the last thing he should be doing if he's supposed to stay in one place for anyone else to come find him to check in with things. Or rather, just not quite considering it, already rather curious on the newer surroundings.]
no subject
[He's still surprised by that, by the fact that the gem was so powerful. It certainly didn't feel like it while they were in there, but Terra's senses hadn't been any help during that little episode.
There's a lot of territory to explore. Terra hasn't looked entirely at the new map yet, but he does know that the world is a lot bigger than just the land that they were used to.
And yes, that was an invitation to live with him, Sora.]
no subject
[Sora no. That is really not the important thing to wonder here with. Everything else.
He himself still doesn't have a means of transport beyond catching a ride somewhere or the like, likely much slower than that available to Terra and Xion though. So chances are it would be better for them to come find him if they were to meet up.
Give him a moment and he'll process that invitation.]
You think that'd be allowed? I don't know how strict things are with these courts. But if we can still use these to talk to each other. So maybe it isn't so......tense?
no subject
[He doesn't know how. If they were back in the past, weren't the sylphs and dryads still alive? A powerful Aero spell? Who knew. He didn't have the faintest clue. For now, he focuses on the details at hand, and he hums, crossing his arms.]
For now, it seems as though there's not really that much fighting going on. I've heard that my new court is in an alliance with the Diamond Coterie, and constantly clashes with the Angelite Syndicate. That's as much as I've been able to gather.
no subject
[Either way. It's apparently still around and in the air. Somehow. They can figure the details later. He gives a nod as he listens to Terra talk about his own court, a hand to his own chin as he ponders.]
Right. In that case, I don't think there should be an issue? If the Diamond Coterie aren't fighting with the Citrine Assembly we should be okay. For now, at least. But that's not taking Xion into account if she's still here and in another court again. The Citrine Assembly seem to like the Amethyst Syndicate though. I'd need to check the map to figure where anything is from here. Leathann might take a bit for me to get to.
[Which. He's not as tense and nervous on. Not without any outright fighting anyway. It seems safer, so he can probably take his time exploring and making his way there to meet Terra.]
Video
Video
[He'll miss his friend. But this way, they have someone at both sides of things. At least, Sora hopes he explained that well enough, a sad smile at his lips all the same. He misses his friend, always will, but this is hardly the first time they've been apart.]
video.
Things did get a little hectic for a moment there. I'm glad to see you're alright.
video.
[And apparently work across courts now. Bonus convenience! Sora's upset, of course. But this isn't the first time they've been separated. And he's sure he'll see his friend again at some point. Always trying to be optimistic and all. So he's trying to keep going, to smile in relief at knowing the ex-SOLDIER is here and okay.]
video.
They do. Let's hope they stay open to cross-court communication, too. [ no doubt soon enough people will try to cut off the ties between the new courts. ] It makes things a lot easier.
Which one did you end up with?
video.
[There seem to be more than just the two options they had previously, after all. Cloud could be in another one entirely that nobody has yet mentioned to him.]
video.
It's in Mirean, and the stronghold is An Tearmann. [ none of which probably says a lot to sora. but there is a ring there, so in case he ever stumbles into the territory, he won't need to worry. ]
video.
[No, An Tearmann doesn't quite ring any bells just yet. But he does make a mental note of it. He really should check the map in a bit to try get his head around it all. And figure more about all these different courts popping up. Or, ones from the past before they merged into those two groups.]
video.
video.
[But well. It is rather obvious that eventually these courts combine into the two they had previously known. So now it is just a matter of preventing all that from happening. Somehow.]
video;
Besides, there's something Sora says that warrants a response.] You got to stay home for two years? [He looks downcast at this revelation, more so than he already is, wishing he could've stayed home for that long, too, or longer, instead of just those few hours and the false notion that he wouldn't have to leave again that he'd been given. Though the latter was his own fault.]
Should be easier to work together this time around [since the lockets don't seem to be restricted now] but people might still get caught up in their court conflicts.
video;
At the question, he rubs at his cheek, trying to figure how to explain it.]
I'm not sure if it really was two years or what happened, exactly. I just know I remember about that much more than I did when I first got here. To Drabwurld about four months ago or so. I know that war was going on for a long time. It's not easy to forget all that. But...we can't know until we try! Things don't seem as tense or restricted so far anyway. We have a chance.
video;
[Yes, he supposes, they have a chance, cynical though he may be. But right now knowing whether or not Kieren might remember what happened to him here now that he was home is of great importance to Simon. It would be a relief to know that, maybe it'd help to get on with other things. This was the way it was now; he was here and Kieren was home and he had best just get used to it. Even though he of all people knew that wasn't how sadness worked.]
video;
[Like Riku. Only for him, it was just some weird happenstance and not so concerning as to have him also wake with less or more memories than before. But then, Sora isn't a stranger to having his own memories tampered with, either way.]
video; private | apologies for late, this can be dropped if it's too old now
Still, it is something, he supposes.] Since we don't always remember everything when we dream, maybe that's what happened, and now that you're back here going home just feels like a dream. So while you were there you didn't remember being here.
[Or maybe he just wants it to be like that, for Kieren's sake. He shrugs now.] It's alright that you don;t know, though. Thanks for the information. [He fiddles with the locket for a second, switching the feed to private, just in case.]
You were with the Seelie before, weren't you? [A beat.] But you'd want to try and stop the void before it makes it to the mainland, if it exists yet?
video; private
[The next question is a little more guarded. Has Sora a little more wary. Or, it should. Especially when he was blamed as a traitor in the battlefield when he was trying to assist those injured in the fighting to get to the gem earlier.]
I....I was. But of course, I'd want to try stop it, if it's going to be a problem again. At least this time it seems we have more time to figure something out and prepare for it.
