[ Today, there's a call from a wiry newcomer. Even from the small lensframe of the locket, it's clear that she's dressed oddly, more like an old-time aviator than someone ready for war -- a sheepskin cap over her short blonde hair, polarized goggles shoved up over her forehead, a heavy leather coat. Under her gear, she looks resolute and serious, though not afraid. ]

So the giant robots showed up to the party, after all.

If you want to keep trying to find a weakness, or even to just draw some of the bastards south, let me know -- because it's not like us to go down without a fight. Not to the Void, not to Seelie, not to some assholes butting in at the last minute.

[ Actually, the whole aviator look works well for her, and it's practical on top of that. Eggsy should get himself a pair of goggles too, to help his eyes from drying out when he's flying.

He transmits back his own video feed through the locket, and starts it off with a wide grin. ] I like the way you think.

Even if we can't do any damage to those things, we can at least try to distract them. [ And lead them away from any populated areas. It wouldn't stop the land from being razed by flames, but better that some plants die than people. ]

Distraction isn't as good as destruction, but I'll take what I can get.

How fast can you get to Redgate?

We can try for both, but so far it seems like those things are indestructible.

[ Eggsy doesn't have much in the way of magical ability to try and use against the monsters, either. So if he has to resort to being a distraction, then so be it.

At her question, he only smirks. ]

You know I got a puca. It ain't gonna take me much time.

[ He's never been there before, but that's a trivial problem. ]

[ Brah, having never been to Redgate is fine. Ange had never been here until an hour ago, and she's only here because she heard that there were Gundams in the area. And she grins broadly when he mentions the puca, bright and confident. ]

Good. I've got some ideas that need a fast ride to pull off.

[ She disappears from the "frame" for a moment, then appears a moment later holding up an overstuffed sack. Thick white cables -- silk grabbed from the lair of the spider she took down in La Llorona -- spill from the top of the sack. Tougher than steel, they're the perfect thing to tie a mecha's legs together, or create tripwires, or just stuff down an intake valve to gum up the works... ]

[ With a world as large as this one and so many things pulling his attention in different directions, Eggsy has decided that he'll visit new areas as he needs to, rather than trying to explore every corner of the world all at once. It seems to have been working out so far, and Redgate is next on the list.

Eggsy waits as Ange disappears, presumably to get something, and then tilts his head in confusion for a moment when she shows off what look to be cables. Chances are they're something a lot weirder than that, but it only takes a few seconds of contemplation before Eggsy can make a guess at what she has in mind. ]

You wanna try and trip 'em up? [ The bigger they are, the harder they fall. ] Think we can pull that off, should slow them down if nothing else.

[ He keeps his locket in one hand as he stands and starts to throw some things into a pack. He's picked out a room at the Station that he's gotten pretty comfortable in by now, but that doesn't mean he's unable to leave at a moment's notice. He should probably tell Chloe about this too, but right now they need to act fast and he can always send her a message later. Eggsy considers this a test run to see what they're up against. ]
