VIDEO | SEELIE + HERMIONE-NET (backdated to the 25th)
[ The video opens to the woodlands surrounding Caer Glaem. Aslan rests not to far away from a shrine to the White Hart, which is visible in the distance.
His expression is grave, indeed, but his address is made with poise. ]
To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.
I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.
Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.
I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.
I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.
The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.
[ He lets his words sink in a moment, then- ]
Be well, all of you.
[ With that, he ends the feed. ]

[ Not to simply walk to his death or to accept what must happen with meekness, but to fight for what he believes in. ]
The End of Days is never an easy thing to accept for those who live to see such times. It is not meant to be, for it is a great fire that will try even the bravest of hearts.
What must be, shall be. However, great things may also come of this prevailing darkness, and I would have every man, woman, and child of every race hold their heads high and fight for that which they hold dear.
Not with fear of the approaching End, but the knowledge that they hold power in their hands, that the choices that they make are theirs and theirs alone.
Come what may, we will see a new day, and I will be glad to see something new born out of the ashes of the old.

[That gets blurted out immediately. He doesn't hold it back and the panic is pretty clear in his voice. The fact of the matter is that this is bad enough without fire being brought into the mix, and now there's fire and being born from ashes and—
he is Iceman!]

Only as a lion.
It's freaky.

Anyway, uh—I'm gonna go somewhere and continue to be unprepared to die.
Thanks!
I cackled when I got these tags, thank you
Aslan listens to the tirade with a patient, calm expression. If he's offended by it, it doesn't show.
He'll wait until the teenager is finished, and if he had no more to say afterwards, Aslan will consider their conversation finished.
He has said his piece, and he won't waste his breath further trying to convince the young man of the truth. ]
