[ The video opens to the woodlands surrounding Caer Glaem. Aslan rests not to far away from a shrine to the White Hart, which is visible in the distance.

His expression is grave, indeed, but his address is made with poise. ]

To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.

I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.

Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.

I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.

I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.

The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.

[ He lets his words sink in a moment, then- ]

Be well, all of you.

[ben knew after he saw the vision of the shuck eating the white hart things would not end well. the vision of the strange, live machine creatures terrorizing this world came and his hope that there was a chance to stop the end faltered. everyone is seeing the same thing now.]

Don't get how the two courts are still fightin' when we got bigger things to worry about.

[like machines that are working outside the station and killing everything.]

[ There is a chance to stop it, a very slim one, but for himself, Aslan does not wish to see it stopped.

This world is dying, and for new life to flourish, the old must first pass away. ]

It is the End of the Age, Ben Hawkins. The vision is a but a sign of the times.

What the hell's comin' next, then? You seen that?

[he's obviously frustrated, and it's not the end that he's really worried about-- it's what comes after, the possibility that there is a slim chance of going home, or being stuck here. who will die, and who will live?]

As of this moment, I have not.

[ He only has his personal experience to go off of and what the monarchs have freely shared. ]

The cycle of life, death, and rebirth is one I am familiar with, so I can only anticipate what may come after.

Damn well hope we all survive or get sent home, then.

[because he'd rather not die and then be given life again here. he'd rather either just be dead or go home.]

We may very well see the other side of this conflict.

[ The monarchs, if nothing else, seem to remember previous conflicts. ]

The worlds which hang in the balance now will return when though I cannot say with certainty that everything will be the same.

Of course it ain't gonna be the same. The void's getting closer every day. We won't know what's happenin' 'til it happens.

[which is probably the most scary thing to come of this.]

If the High King and Queen of the Seelie are to be believed, and the Void takes its natural course, all will be consumed and reborn in fire.

The destruction of all things followed by rebirth.

Think we'll remember everythin'?

[how far does that destruction reach?]

It is possible.

[ He remembered everything when he was reborn - the same principles may very well apply. ]

The monarchs have spoken of there being many cycles, so it may very well be that on the other side of this destruction, we will remember everything that we have seen and heard.
