[ The video opens to the woodlands surrounding Caer Glaem. Aslan rests not to far away from a shrine to the White Hart, which is visible in the distance.

His expression is grave, indeed, but his address is made with poise. ]

To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.

I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.

Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.

I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.

I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.

The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.

[ He lets his words sink in a moment, then- ]

Be well, all of you.

[ With that, he ends the feed. ]

I - I can't, [ Leo says helplessly. ] I used to work with them, but they shut me out. Now they won't let me in anymore than they will anyone else. There's no way to...

[ He trails off, thinking. Someone told him, not too long ago, that he could get in whether the dwarves wanted him to or not. Leo would be hesitant to ask him for help, since he barely knows the guy and doesn't know the limit of those powers he was bragging about... but he might be able to ask someone else. ]

I don't know if I can, [ he says slowly, the gears in his head starting to turn, ] but I can try.

[ Aslan rumbles softly - a thoughtful sound. ]

If you wish it so, I would offer you what assistance I am able.

[ Whatever purpose these creatures are meant to serve, he would know more about them as well as the ones responsible for their creation. ]

[ As dismal as this is turning out to be, the offer is... oddly reassuring, though Leo has no idea what a lion would be able to do to help, even if he's got some kind of magic under his sleeves - er, paws. ]

Thanks. I'll let you know if I need help, but... There's someone else I need to talk to first. I just hope we don't actually find anything.

[ Leo really, really hopes this is just paranoia, just dreams going wild. There's no such thing for demigods, of course, but he doesn't want it to be real. The alternative is horrifying. ]

[ He is the creator of a world who not only authored its beginning but its end. Those paws can do quite a bit. ]

Guard yourself well.

[ Dealing with engines of destruction designed to take part in the End of All Things is no small matter. ]

Should you have need of me, I will come.

[ Leo nods. ]

I’ll do what I can.

[ ...Wait a minute. He pauses, finally realizing he hasn’t actually… introduced himself. His mind has been elsewhere, on more important things. But it would help if his supposed allies actually knows who he is. Only slightly embarrassed, he offers a half-smile. ]

I’m Leo, by the way.

We are well-met, Leo.

[ He already introduced himself at the beginning of this broadcast; he does not do so again. ]

Do not fear what you may discover.

I’m not scared, [ he protests, though he isn’t sure if that’s actually true. At the very least, it's unsettling, and a grim cast haunts his eyes. ] I just… I hope it’s just a dream. The people who would’ve made those things… I called a lot of them friends.

Times such as these often drive people to do things they would not otherwise consider.

[ In some ways, this truly is a war of selfishness. ]
