[ The video opens to the woodlands surrounding Caer Glaem. Aslan rests not to far away from a shrine to the White Hart, which is visible in the distance.

His expression is grave, indeed, but his address is made with poise. ]

To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.

I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.

Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.

I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.

I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.

The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.

[ He lets his words sink in a moment, then- ]

[ With that, he ends the feed. ]

[Ah! It's a huge lion! That talks! Excuse the staring. But. Yeah, Sora is staring before he registers what Aslan is actually saying, about how long he's been here, the dream he had. Fire? Hadn't Merida said fire magic was affected by the death of the previous god, replaced by that puppy or something? That he would get access to that again once he practiced with his shard more? And, well, shards as eyes sounds rather ominous, given that would assume to be that those who previously held the shards would be dead for this to happen.]

Well, I'm not sure when it might happen, but appreciate the warning all the same, Mister.

[Is...that right? What to address a talking lion as? Well, besides his actual name, anyway. Sora gives a shrug before a small smile curves at his lips.]

Riku and I are always prepared. We'll figure something. At least now we know about it, right? So I reckon we'll be ready for these metal beasts.

[Fighting is straightforward enough. Something Sora has plenty of practice with, even if at this point he's still from so early on his adventures before arriving to the Drabwurld. It's no wonder he's younger and still rather cocky in a sense. But he always is, when it comes down to it, between him and Riku, confident they could face nearly anything together. Let alone if everyone else knows about this and can ready themselves and work together.]

[ It is indeed a huge lion that talks, Sora! He also seems rather bemused at the title "Mister" you have bestowed upon him. ]

My name is Aslan, young man. If you wish to call me that, you may.

[ "Mister" sounds a little too stuff for someone like him. ]

I have met your friend, Riku, not too long ago. I would advise you both to stand together and look out for each other in the times that lie ahead.

The battles will not be easy.

[keybearing]

Aslan then. Ah, I'm Sora!

[Because at this point he hasn't really got to know Simba and go to the Pridelands, a talking lion is still new to him. Which really shouldn't be as surprising when he's best friends with a talking duck and dog, on their quest to find a Mouse King, but. Well, even Sora can be surprised and excited still sometimes.]

Oh, you did? Seems he's met quite a lot of us around here before I showed up. But of course I'll look out for him! He's my best friend. Together, we'll make it. Plus there's Terra and Aqua too. And everyone else. So long as we work together, we'll handle these metal guys.

[aslandish]

We are well met, Sora.

[ A bright-hearted youth, indeed. ]

I cannot say with certainty how powerful they may be, but the bonds of the heart of powerful indeed. I can only ask that you be cautious in the times ahead.

[keybearing]

[Sora and caution aren't usually something one thinks of together, given how impulsive he tends to be in rushing in at seeing anyone potentially in trouble without thinking, without getting the full story and context of the situation. But he tries.]

I'll be careful. Now that Riku's awake again, so long as we stick together we can watch each other's back.

[Part of him wants to tell Aslan to be careful too but. Well, he figures a lion can probably well enough take care of themselves, right?]

Be certain that you do.

We may very well meet on the battlefield itself before time draws to a close.

[keybearing]

I will. We got separated back home, but I'm not letting that happen again if I can help it.

[And here there's a determined look and nod to emphasize.]

But maybe we will! I guess just need to wait and see what happens. It definitely seems something is about to happen soon if the monarchs were wanting us to train and all. Maybe that....dream or whatever of yours might happen sooner than later.

[aslandish]

It will be soon.

[ When, exactly, he cannot say, but he feels it in his heart. They End of the Age is upon them, and they are standing at the door. ]

Be well in the meantime, Sora. And do not fear that which may come to pass.

[keybearing]

I just hope it isn't too 'soon' that we won't have enough time to try prepare.

[There's a blink at the last, how familiar that advice is. From his dreams, telling him not to be afraid, back before the storm and Heartless took the Islands. He shakes his head, simply focusing on Aslan.]

Right! I will. And you too, okay?

[aslandish]

[ Aslan smiles. ]

I will, Sora. Thank you.
