To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.
I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.
Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.
I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.
I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.
The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.

[Niko, don't call the allegory for Jesus an asshole.]
[Also it is a lion. Why is there a talking lion in his locket?]
[Probably for the same reason he has a winged horse and a magic locket. Might as well roll with it.]
Do you know what will fix all this shit in the end? Because I got enough on my conscience without entire lands of terrified innocent people. I do not want to think they will spend their last moments miserable and that is all for them.

I have heard it said by the queen of the Seelie Court that the worlds, once consumed by the Void, will be reborn in fire and that such has been the cycle for many ages past.
The cycle of death, life, and rebirth is not a new concept. It is older than time itself.

Both of these options sound terrible. It is too late, it seems, to correct it. But it would have been good if this void could have been slowed, held at bay, but not stopped.
But I am new here, and the only concern I have is for my cousin and my mother live comfortably. [He has other concerns, but he tends to deny them for his main priorities.] I want assurance of their safety. My loyalty lies with them above all things, and I have been given no promises of their safety in all of this if it is also my world that is affected.

I don't know of the rest of the universe, they are strangers to me. But I know my family is good people, and I will do whatever it takes to defend them. [If he had to do something that could kill someone

[One betrayal or another. It's not surprising that someone wouldn't want their world destroyed, but Niko doesn't give a shit about his world. It's vile and repugnant, with very few beautiful people in it.]
[But they are there, and they are what is most important to him, and those beautiful people see all the beauty in the world around them that Niko can't. That he's too jaded to see. He knows it's there because they see it, and while it's within his ability to mutilate that, render it unrecognizable so it can start over, he doesn't think he can risk those irreplaceable people.]
[But he's here and a side is chosen for him, and if he abhors anything above all else, it's fucking traitors.]

[ A quiet acknowledgement. Aslan does not expect those with a more finite vision and lifespan to find this easy. Even a few of the gods of this world are against the End that has come up before them, and he understands that only a few are truly ever ready to face something of this magnitude.
He does not fault them for it. He can only encourage and give what advice he can. ]
