[ The video opens to the woodlands surrounding Caer Glaem. Aslan rests not to far away from a shrine to the White Hart, which is visible in the distance.

His expression is grave, indeed, but his address is made with poise. ]

To those of you to whom I have never spoken, greetings. My name is Aslan, and I arrived in the drabwurld approximately a year and a half ago by this world's reckoning.

I speak to you now, to those who may be unaware, of events that may be coming in the near future.

Earlier this month, I dreamed a dream like unto the visions that came to a number of individuals at the turn of last year. In my dream, I saw great beasts made of metal ravaging the lands with fire. They destroyed everything in their path, and the light of their eyes glowed like unto the very Shards we bear.

I cannot say when, but I believe this vision will come to pass.

I give this warning so that you might not fear, but prepare.

The End comes, and we must be ready to meet it.

[ He lets his words sink in a moment, then- ]

Be well, all of you.

[ With that, he ends the feed. ]

I expected there would be others.

[ There was no sense of connectedness like his previous vision of the godswar so he could not tell for certain. ]

If the vision is any indication, we may be the first in line for their assault.

[ The Seelie, that is. ]

[It's a long story, Aslan, but he's got a scrying stone that used to be a star, and it's handy for situations like these.]

Perhaps we may be the first in line, but we will not be the last. The Seelie are not their only target. Which suggests that these creatures are not of their own making, or if they are, whoever should control them would turn them against their own.

[ Seeing the future is definitely very handy sometimes. ]

Indeed. There is no reason not to believe, after decimating Seelie lands, that they will not continue to the north.

[ And there, attack the Unseelie. This is a war for the Shards, after all, among other things, and those creatures possessed Shards as their eyes. ]

It would appear their make required the power of shards, though I could say who might possess such skill.

I know of some who do. Possess the powers to harness shards in such a way. Though before such a vision, I had not thought that they would be willing to take such steps against shardbearers themselves...

[Now he has to wonder, however. Given the way the visions have played out versus reality in the past, how things will play out this time. He supposes they will simply have to wait and find out.]

In times of desperation, people will do many things they would not otherwise do.

[ This he knows very well. ]

Who is it that you suspect?

[Faolan is hesitant to say such things in front of people who might consider themselves friends or allies of such people, so he locks his conversation before he continues.]

I have been told that the dwarves possess the power to remove a shard from a person's body without killing them. [It came up when the court was looking to make a certain person (not him, but Robb Stark) shardless.]

Of course, that is not the only possibility. There could be other explanations. But I do know that they are also excellent metalworkers. There is no blade native to this land comparable to dwarven steel. That I have encountered, at least.

[ Aslan's great brow furrows. While the news does not surprise him, necessarily (he has know his share of trustworthy and untrustworthy dwarves), it is, in its way, a disappointment. ]

I am familiar with their race as they do exist in the world from whence I came.

[ He also remembers their actions at the very end of Narnia's existence. The dwarves are for the dwarves, and no amount of pleading or reasoning would persuade them otherwise. ]

If it is indeed their work, both Courts would have reason to fear their intentions.

[Faolan nods in agreement with the lion.]

I do not doubt it. Just because both courts are at each other's throats does not mean that the whole of the Drabwurld agrees with such ideals. It was only a matter of time before another group -- other than the Cult, that is -- were to step up and take their stand.

[ A soft rumble sounds in the lion's chest. ]

I have seen such events play out before.

The final days of any world are often bloody affairs, and this shall be no different.

[ A beat, then- ]

Is the Seelie army prepared to make its final stand?

[Faolan pauses for a moment, but then. There is something to make him believe that this voice is not a threat. That whatever he knows, whatever he tells him, it will not fall into the wrong hands. Perhaps it is because he owes him -- he owes him a lot, after what he did for Lancelot. Faolan doesn't know for certain.]

We are doing everything we can. No one will ever truly be prepared for such a thing. But we are doing our best.
