[ The video feed shows a harried, tired looking Hermione sitting behind her desk, head held high as she smiles, leaning forward. ]

As always, if anyone is in need of potions or charmed, protective cloaks for the upcoming battles, let me know. Artefacta will be happy to provide them, and we can enchant items you already own as well. Just let me know through your lockets and I'll arrange it all.

[ She seems so young to be dealing with so much, have so much on her shoulders but he quickly corrects himself. He's thirteen and that's super young to a lot of people but someone thought he was needed here regardless of his age. And he'd be the first to always say he can help just as well as anyone else no matter how young he is. So when it comes down to it, he just has a lot of admiration for her. ]

Are you kidding? That would be amazing.

[ Apparently he can't quite curb his enthusiasm, a bright grin on his face. ]

You actually got to go to school just to learn magic? That's so cool.

Sorry, my name's Henry, by the way.

[ Youth doesn't mean as much to Hermione as it did once - when she was eleven she was already taking part in fighting a Dark Lord, and it's been part of her life since she was a young girl. Now she's an adult and she's taking on as much responsibility as she possibly can so that other people don't have to; because she wants to help. It's as simple as that. ]

Then we'll have to arrange it, won't we?

[ She grins back, enjoying his enthusiasm - it's welcome, more than she can say. When he gives her his name she pauses, her eyes widening before she beams. ]

You're not Emma's Henry, are you?

[ She already seems like someone he'd get along with really well. She's doing whatever she can to help other people and that's always been his mindset, too. Maybe, he hopes, he can even help her sometime. ]

That would be great.

[ It's hard to stifle his excitement and he's just glad she's open to it because he imagines she must be super busy. She sounds it, anyway. ]

Emma? Yep, she's my mom. [ His grin remains, a little wider now because he's proud of that. ] Do you know her really well?

[ Hermione does her best to hide just how busy she is, tucking it into the back of her mind and keeping her expression content and happy, her smile settled on her face. ]

When I have a few hours free I'll send you a message.

[ His excitement is a little contagious, though, and she softens, leaning forward and nodding her head. ]

Not very well, but well enough - she and her mother have helped me with a few things that I really appreciate.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. But no rush, other stuff comes first.

[ Not that he thought she might feel rushed, he just wants to be sure she knows he's not in a hurry and doesn't expect anything to happen immediately. ]

My mom and grandmother, they're good at that. Especially my grams, she loves helping people. I mean both of them, it just takes my mom a little longer to warm up to people. [ He smirks a little knowingly. Given that she knows his mom, he wonders if that's where his mom got the protective cloak came from. He figures since there are lots of advanced magic users around here it could have come from someone else, maybe. But now he's curious ]

Were you the one who gave my mom a protective cloak? She gave it to me but I wasn't sure where it came from originally.

There's... Time, I think? Maybe not as much as either of us would like, but enough for us to have some time to spend together going over things.

[ She does feel a little better knowing he's not in too much of a hurry, soothing her somewhat rattled nerves as she tries to sort out her commitments one by one. There's so much to do and, at times, not enough hours in the day to do it all no matter how much she would like it. ]

Both of them are really amazing people - very brave, and incredibly helpful, even when they didn't have to be. They both love you very much, too - all they've talked about since you arrived is you and keeping you safe. [ She does smile, though, the idea of it charming - she has her own adoptive father here, so a part of her can understand.

But - she continues. ]

That was me, yes, she did tell me she'd passed it on.

[ He nods with a soft smile. There's so much going on right now, everyone getting ready for war, and yet even knowing that things could get bad, he's cautiously optimistic nonetheless. He doesn't really know any other way to be, even with the stuff he's already experienced in his life. ]

They're my heroes. [ Them, and the rest of his family. He has a lot to live up to, but he's trying to make them proud. ] They have, really? [ Not that he's surprised, it's just nice to hear. ] I know they're worried about me being here, but I'll be okay. [ He's just as worried for them. ]

Thanks for that, for keeping her safe. Do you have people keeping you safe, too?

[ Hermione is trying her best to make sure that she keeps her head afloat, and she's managing - she's working hard, and it shows, the black circles under her eyes nothing to the bare few hours of dozing every now and then. She's doing her best and managing - as she had done at school, working to the brink of sanity to make sure that she did everything above and beyond the requirement needed. ]

They're both incredible. [ The brightness, the pride she sees in him, makes her soften, and she bites back her laughter before she nods her head. ] I'm sure you will be. You've got some incredible people on your side.

[ Lifting a hand, she shakes her head. ]

I'll well taken care of, I promise.

[ Hermione is someone he thinks - no, he knows - he'll be keeping an eye on. Not because she can't take care of herself, it's pretty obvious she can. But because she thinks so much about other people that she comes last. She has people taking care of her, though, which is good, but it never hurts to have another person checking to make sure she's okay. For Henry, that more comes in the form of bringing her things she might like, things that are a comfort or something. ]

Good, I'm glad you are.

I know you're probably busy so I won't keep you, and we can do the potions stuff whenever. [ He smiles happily. He has a lot he'd love to ask her about and talk to her about but she's got a lot on her plate right now. ] I'll see you soon? I hope you get to rest up soon, too.

A few other people wanted to learn, so maybe I could teach a little class? I need to make sure you all have wands, but I'm sure there's a few things you can do without that kind of magic, at least for now.

[ She softens, feeling a warmth settle inside of her - Henry might have his mother and grandmother here, but she'll do what she can to keep an eye on him as well. He shouldn't have to be here, but they don't get to decide what their shards do or when they're brought here; that's out of their hands. ]

I'll take a longer nap today, I promise.
