Please return your device to me for additional protection and charms. This won't come with any charge, but it is something that needs to be done. It will make it so that no one but you can use your device and, should it be stolen, it will turn into a harmless little lump of fool's gold, with a promise of a replacement from me if you need it.

I see. It's been really helpful actually getting to talk to people across courts, but I can see how it could be used against either side.

That's what I've been using them for - anyone from the Unseelie side that uses one is someone I can watch, sort of, since my compass is the master one. I just don't want to abuse that if I don't have to. Mortality might be ignorable in a war, but not for me. It's who I am.

That's very admirable.
I wouldn't say it's ignorable at all. If anything, war is where morality counts the most. Every decision we make hinges on that.

And I refuse to make a decision unless I'm as sure as I can be that it's the right one.

Do you know how exactly we're placed in the courts? I'm just curious and you're very knowledgable.

I think it has something to do with our nature, how we view the world. I don't know the details, but the Seelie and Unseelie both have creeds - and if we believed in those creeds then that's where we're put, or where our shard aligns itself.
