( believe it or not, using a magical device to communicate with others is a lot easier for Tink to wrap her head around than say, a cell phone. they were so small, and made such funny noises, and who knew what radiowaves were. they didn't sound good for you. no, she'd much rather have a magical locket.
she doesn't seem to falter with it much, either, a simple introduction being enough. )
Hello. I was told I could use this to communicate.
( Tink's accent is a bit of a twang, her voice sweet just like the delicate features of her face, but if you write her off as sweet and innocent, you're asking for trouble. )
My name is Tinker Bell. Does anyone here know of a place called 'Storybrooke'?
( Tink figures she's more or less alone, but it doesn't hurt to ask. )
There is something wrong with my magic. I've heard all sorts of claims as to why that might be, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this experience. And how I could restore it to the way it was. I still can manage a few spells but it's not right, and I want to know why. If I'm meant to help with this war, I'm not going to be as capable.
( that's a bit of bribery, really — give her magic back and she'll be a good little worker bee, honest! or, well, she is not a creature that wants to participate in war, yet she's willing to use her magic for the right reasons. she just needs it back first. she fought tooth and nail to get her wings back, she's not going to sit back and let someone strip them from her again.
still, she can't be wholly selfish. )
The faeries around here seem to be a bit self serving — that's not how faeries work in my world. I'm here to help anyone that needs it, if I can. I understand we are trying to ready ourselves... I can happily teach those that might like to know about survival skills and living off the land, and general first aide. Someone mentioned something about activating my shard, if I could trade one knowledge for the other we'd both leave a little wiser.

[ Somehow he hadn't quite caught that during their first conversation. Eggsy had been so overwhelmed at that point that he'd likely missed a lot of things. She's magical, so he really shouldn't be that shocked, but it's more the sort of surprise that comes with learning a cool new fact about a friend.
As for her question, he glances over his shoulder, lifting the locket a little in case she might be able to make out the large body of water behind him. ]
I'm a few miles east of this giant lake. Dunno what it's called, but it shouldn't be that hard to find if you're flying.

I'm a fairy. Much like the ones here, and ... not very much like them, at the same time.
( she's able to change her size, for one, and she's not quite as mean-spirited with sharing her magical abilities... but that's a gripe for another time. )
If you see something that looks like a green spark in the sky, stand still, and I'll come to you.
( and she most certainly will — she scouted around enough in Neverland that she won't be horrible company, either. )

And with Tinker Bell, apparently. It seems that she's the outlier. More importantly, she can fly. He's still not quite over that. ]
A green spark? Right, I'll keep an eye out. D'you need me to wave or somethin'?
[ He's got a glint in his eyes, a sign of his excitement over this. He's going to have at least a few questions prepared for her once they meet up. ]

( she's a bit charmed by his excitement, even if he's not quite as bold in it as the children she's used to in neverland. to be a fairy is not exactly an exciting thing in her world. they were very commonplace, at least in the Enchanted Forest. )
Just watch the sky and I'll find you.

I'll be keepin' an eye out.
[ He winks at her and then closes his locket, moving out from the trees he'd been taking cover under to search for that green spark. ]
