Unseelie Lockets

Right. Quick question, assuming this is working…

Is anything here organized? Or is everyone intended to figure out this training thing on their own?

Suit yourself. Hoard all your information that could save someone else's life.

[and she still looks completely calm when she says it, as though he just turned down grilled cheese because he already ate lunch earlier.]

If you're training so much, I expect to see you alive at the end of the battle.

i'm so sorry for her

...So let me see if I understand you. You refuse to attend training or assist with it because you're doing work on your own, yet you also refuse to fight on the battlefield as we've been called to do?

[and she laughs, bright and sharp and entirely at his expense.]

What an utterly stubborn fool you are.

Well, you'll be put into the fray one way or another, your consent not required for your shard's presence alone places you there. It's only a matter of time. All this is only a chance to better your odds at survival.

I'm not new, I simply know what their Majesties expect of their newly brought shardbearers. And I know that battlefield or no, there are many in this world who would love to tear the gem from your chest and use it to their own aims, not all of them Seelie. You really have no clue what you're facing, and you'd reject all help?
