I've heard tales that they are spirits who died givin' birth, but that might not always be th' case. Sometimes they lose things, such as hair combs. Perhaps these might help them regain their voices.

[For banshees to lose their voice makes her worry. Is it to do with the vision that Ben had? With the sightings of the White Hart scampering through the cities a month ago with death on His heels?]

[ Lie or not, it does make Asami smile. Even it might hurt a little at the thought that Korra may not have...mentioned her at all, but, she had too many things to worry about here, hadn't she? ]

Then I guess it's up to me to make a good first impression, huh?

[She supposes she can understand why Korra might not have mentioned her. Merida doesn't really talk about her family all that much these days, even referring to herself as Diarmuid's daughter rather than Elinor and Fergus'. It's hard sometimes, she knows, and she gestures to say don't worry about it.]

[ It does mean a lot to her that she's able to meet the friends that Korra has made along the way, the people who have been there for her when Asami couldn't. They're important to Korra so they're important to Asami, too. ]

[She doesn't feel like repeating the struggle of trying to get Hiccup and Jack to call him by his proper name, so she tells her his Servant class.] He was a hero, back in my homeland, but he was also well known for his...ah, other exploits. [It's about the kindest way she can say it over the locket. Really, she doesn't mind it, because she can't change who he is, and there's a smile on her face when Asami says that.]

[ She is, of course, that's what Merida means. The thought that someone could exist in several different worlds and realities hasn't crossed her mind. ]

[ so what if she felt a little left out!! ]

[ As nice as Merida is, Asami visibly lights up once Korra appears. Not so subtle dokis hello. ]

[ She hasn't seen you in a couple of weeks it feels like forever. ]
