In light of the decree given by the Black Shuck, I am seeking to try and create a database of banshee sightings, to try and help get teams of people or individuals out to the exact location and to give them a hand. To that extent, if anyone is willing to volunteer where they’re interested in heading, so that a note of it might be made and more ground can be be covered by others checking to see if an area has been seen to, please let me know. The goal is to organize something useful, so that this can be done as completely as plausible.

To Hermione-Net, voice

Hi all. To make a long story short, with the temporary lax standards the Shuck has forced our monarchs to to take, I’m temporarily allowing Unseelie and Seelie alike into the Barrel to try and get this banshee task attended to in the most concise manner possible. I’m trying to collect all possible sightings, and I’ll be happy to pass on spots to check out for anyone who’s interested in restoring their voices.

Obviously for everyone’s safety I’m going to ask that those of you making use of the Barrel try and not go too far astray from the task before us. However, if you need a place for final farewells, I’m not exactly going to stop you either.

Please let me know if you have questions, otherwise I do look forward to seeing a number of you for a final round of cooperation before we have to get back to killing each other.

[After a few minutes of fussing in the background, a thud or two, and a tired sigh, Waver's voice returns to the device.]

All right, we're cleared for landing.

[ She's not laughing, she's just... Muffled humming.

Right. ]

[Waver's very, very glad he's moved Fizzle out of the fireplace when he sees Hermione in it, and far gladder that he also tried to sweep the built up ash out as well. There is no joy in the housecleaning required to get all that sooty blackness off the floor.]

I think that was half a second, Hermione.

[ It's alright; as soon as Hermione has stepped through she turns and waves her wand, cleaning up all the soot from the floor and herself before she steps forward and, without hesitation, wraps her arms around Waver and presses her face against him. ]

Still. I'm here. Hi.

[Waver's a little surprised by the hug - even with the kids he still isn't huggy by nature - but he gets over it quick enough so that he can hug back. This'll be a one time thing, with the current state of the courts.]

[ She shifts and holds on to him - because it's been too long and because she cares about him, even if she's never really said it aloud. Breathing out, she leans back so she can look at him properly, eyes flickering over his face. ]

I've missed you.

[Waver's hands rest on Hermione's shoulders, and a tired but genuine smile flicks across his face.]

I missed you too. But it looks like you're looking after yourself and staying safe.

[ She nods her head, trying to breathe out. ]

Mostly. A few battles here and there, but I have some new friends and allies to keep an eye on me.

[ And, you know. The wedding ring she's still wearing.

Mostly indeed. I hope that the whole let's raise the dead and get them to attack the Citadel damage is quite seen to?

It is. The rebuild is almost finished and I didn't even lose my tapestries.

Well, thank goodness for little miracles I suppose. Leave it to Reul to waste an undead army and not even wreck that much.

[ At least it's not entirely her fault; she can say that. ]

You would think he would have tried harder, hm? [ She shakes her head. ] It's fine. I've spent most of my time in Treun and Leathann anyway.

Not that he didn't make a fine attempt. Every single one those things were people he deemed disloyal and had killed. [Or: Waver knew that could have been him, hasn't slept great since.]

[ Hermione breathes out, shaking her head. It's chilling and all the things she's heard about Reul just makes her loathe him more.
