{3rd Hope; voice} {Seelie; Open to Hermione's Compass network, backdated}
[There's a pause as she catches her breath after the initial whirlwind of emotion at Emma being affected by the silver sickness, the worry and guilt as they kept searching for answers. That the True Love's Kiss actually worked against this as well as it had any other curse back home. Snow is still a little breathless at that, but she feels it is important to try tell others. This particular method might not work for everyone, but if there's a chance it could help even one other.....it would be worth this.]
I know some are newer around here. Not the best of circumstances to meet but I'm Snow. And I figured at least one method against this silver spreading. But it might not work for everyone. Back home, in Storybrooke, in the Enchanted Forest, there was one way to cure any curse. True Love's Kiss. It works against this too. Of course not everyone would be able to use this option, like I said. But I thought....if it could help even one other person besides Emma, my daughter, I should tell you. I hope everyone is managing all right through this. If I can help more, just let me know.
[Yes, she said her daughter. Snow White has a daughter. And still believes in the likes of True Love in spite of everything. In spite of being separated from her own, Charming, for over a year here.]

[Yes, she said her daughter. Snow White has a daughter. And still believes in the likes of True Love in spite of everything. In spite of being separated from her own, Charming, for over a year here.]
voice;
Snow White. [Somehow, he thinks he should have been expecting this.] My apologies, Miss Snow. That information will prove very helpful. I suspect the illness passes via direct skin contact with another individual, but there should be no problems if both are afflicted.
voice;
[There's a sigh, she runs her hands through her short pixie cut.]
If people are careful, if we at least know how it spreads then that's something.
voice;
[Although, he wonders if they should help them, if they could. The Unseelie have entirely the wrong cause.]
In the past, was communication between the two sides truly so much easier? I haven't had confirmation on my theory of its transfer, but I haven't caught the silver sickness since it began and I've been actively treating patients.
voice;
[Regardless of sides, of the war, Snow would want to help. Nobody should suffer like this if it can be helped.]
We used to be able to speak on the lockets regardless of which court we were placed in. So it was a bit easier. [A lot easier, really.]
I'm glad you are all right. That you're trying, all the same. I'm not sure on the risk on confirming that theory until we know for sure what might work. We'll figure it though. With so many people trying to look into this. We have to.
voice;
One idea is the disease began with those of a high level of influence in the Drabwurld. [Which would transfer to both sides, naturally.
This news about the lockets, though-- It's intriguing.]
I remain hopeful, Miss Snow, just as you do. Although I'm tempted to ask about the lockets. Are there other methods of cross-court communication, then?
[She said it can't be done easily, not that it's impossible.]
voice;
[But then she pauses, worrying at her lip before answering.]
There are ways. If one wishes. I know during the year we had without the lockets, people found other means, some offering to carry messages or creating other devices to use alternatively to the lockets through magic.
[She's wary on naming specifically though. Not wanting to potentially get anyone in trouble. Though even prior to obtaining Hermione's compass, she had alternative means. Through birds, as she had done back home, using them to fly and find those receiving her notes.]
voice;
Interesting. I will have to look into it. [And because it does bear repeating:]
I fail to understand the need for a distinction myself, but it has been described as an actual curse, as well. Presumably it would defy reason.
voice;
voice;
[He isn't familiar with popular opinion of the shardbearers; indeed, he considers himself as nothing special compared to any native.]
voice;
[She tries. But of course most of the time, they're only one person. Doing what little they can to help assure people.]
voice;
Is it that the natives are neutral, neither aligned with Seelie nor Unseelie for the most part, and thus want nothing to do with our war?
voice;
[She admits there could be a lot she doesn't know. Even after being here as long as she has. Snow doesn't mind questions, she's just willing to admit she could be wrong, that there could be more to the answers.]
voice;
... I understand. That only makes sense. In Leathann, where I find myself, many of the priests and worshipers are sympathetic to the Unseelie. They remain affected just as we are, so I wouldn't know where to start if I were to consider the curse came from one of them.
[It's an odd mismatch. He doesn't agree with the Unseelie's view, he never would, but he finds himself among them and having shared interests with them.]
voice;
[But she is aware even saying that might be risky enough. Her lips purse as she frowns slightly. This is one option but she is keenly aware it's not general enough to work for everyone. Of course she is aware of the war, but she doesn't see it as 'us versus them'. Still sees some hope and potential if they manage to work together. Even if she has little hope of being able to settle things without violence when the war has been raging as long.]
voice;
I do not believe it may be necessary to work together with Unseelie. They have their own court and allies to help them, as do we.
[And he knows it's not as simple as cleanly slicing between who allies with Seelie, and who doesn't. But he wouldn't aid his enemy.]
In any case, it appears the best option open to us is to keep trying our best. I'll investigate a possible source of a curse from here.
voice;
[They have to. Even if at present Emma or herself isn't at risk and in danger from it. Others still are. So she isn't about to give up. Not now. Not until everyone is safe.]
voice;
I'll wait on orders from the High-Queen. [That's his answer to the "cooperating with Unseelie" issue.] Yes, let us believe in our success and continue in the meanwhile. Take care, Miss Snow White, and thank you for sharing the information with us that you did.
