I don't think many people would choose our lives, witches or demigods or otherwise. It might seem very grand, having all these powers and spells and gifts, but... It's not that easy. There is a lot more responsibility than people expect and sometimes we have to do things that we regret just to keep going, to keep fighting. I would never abandon this life, the things that have happened to me, but it doesn't stop me wishing some of it were at least a little different, that I could save the people I loved some of their pain.
