[It is late in the evening and Alice is riled up from exploring. When she comes into view, she looks tired, but all the same, she's absorbed in the atmosphere of this world. Unfortunately, she's still in her blue pinafore dress and a blood-stained apron, plopped up on the castle walls with her feet swaying calmly.]
Curiouser and curiouser.
[She can't help but say it, thumbing her hands together with a key resting in her hands.]
How strange it is that even the stars, despite how bright they are, look nothing like the ones I used to see. They're certainly not this bright in London. But they will never be bright as the ones in Wonderland. Where I come from, these are nothing but old stories passed onto others from centuries ago, long before Her Majesty's kingdom actually became a kingdom. I still cannot begin to fathom why I was place in such a court, but-
[Her mind is wandering until Alice remembers.]
Oh, before I forget once more, there is a very tall, unusual man looking for his son. Tall with black hair, grey eyes, and pointed ears. Red-haired, I believe. I suppose if anyone were looking for their father, you may inquire with me.
[Being the paranoid person she is, she's purposefully withholding some information.]

Course, not all the stars in Wonderland are stars.
video
Why, they can if they so chose to be.
video
[He's lying. As much as he complains about Wonderland, there were some fun parts about it]
Don't think I ever saw you wandering around while I was there, granted I had to leave in a hurry and going back wasn't exactly my first choice.
video
And why is that? Who might you be?
video
[He's almost proud of that because there's nothing he likes better than getting one up on royalty like the Queen of Hearts or that other Queen]
Will Scarlet. Once, some time ago, Knave of Hearts. Course there wasn't much job security working for the Queen of Hearts, so ... well, you get the picture I hope.

The description catches his attention though - 'tall with black hair, grey eyes', a man with a red-haired son. Surely not?
Rather than address that though (because what force could constrain a fire such as his father, surely this must be another) he chooses the earlier point of the story to respond to instead. It is dark where he is, outside away from the artifical lights of the station, but he is visible clearly even so, a shadowy gleam about him (it flickers, fitful, but only those who know what it looks like would see it) ]
Strange stars for a strange world, but they still sing brightly, and that is comfort enough. Many tales have a grain of truth you will find.
video
Absolutely perfect images that compel her over-active mind to explore more. By now, Alice is dark, cynical. No melody will sooth this rage.]
A grain of truth they may have, but they are still distorted as time goes on. We change them to our liking.

[ She's noticed them as well, taking a break from either drawing or reading to wander in the upper parts of the castle. ]
Tall with pointed ears sounds like one of the elves, but I could be wrong.
video;
[That man had made a point to Alice that they should be easy to spot. Maybe they're all related? She's not sure.]
Perhaps. May I ask how many are there?
video;
[ Honestly, neither is Ariadne. ]
A lot, as far as I can tell. Most, I think, are in the Seelie court, but there are a few in the Unseelie court as well.
video;
[Assuming that she's across from Britain; she isn't sure, she's never really encountered a Canadian or American. Alice wrinkles her nose in thought.]
Well, he was very adamant on finding his son, but none so far I've seen with russet hair as he described. Only a paled hair one, a very boisterous fellow.
[Just a bit obnoxious then again, Alice isn't that much of a socializer and she hates parties.]

May I ask the name of this man?
[Ordinarily she might circle the point for a little longer, be less direct, but she's on the road, as can be seen by the campsite in the background of the video, and she's a little too tired for that.]
And why he does not ask for himself?
video
He called himself Fëanáro and I am sure that he will, but I wanted to help. I don't believe families should be separated from one another.

He is my uncle. [It's not the happiest statement in the world. This...complicates things. A great deal.] Two of his sons are present in the Unseelie court, though neither is the one he seeks.
no subject
Well, then Mr. Fëanáro would be pleased to hear that. He was very concerned for them and we are of the same court.

[ Celegorm stared at the locket, breath caught in his throat ]
The man, looking for his son!
Video | Locked
He said his name was Fëanáro.
Re: Video | Locked
[ He rushes to close the locket, already dashing through the halls. ]

[Whoops. Alice has just been cut off. WELP.]

[ Wresting her chin upon a wrist, then, she'll appear a bet more sombre. ]
But, as for the missing boy-- he wasn't lost here, was he?
no subject
Yes, well. I'm originally from Oxford.
I am not sure -- he didn't really say and I didn't want to press him. I'm sure he could only take me being a nuisance for so long. He was fairly imposing.
no subject
A lovely place, Oxford. The scenery must have been difficult to leave behind.
[ Smiling more softly, then. London is good for business, but must be bleak for a young woman, such as this one. She remembers that her nephew hated it, too. ]
I can't say that I'd blame him, as I would be frantic, myself. My immediate thought was that he may have lost his little boy here - which I hope is not the case, but should you meet him again, please do let him know that I would be willing to help him search, if such is the case. I'd imagine that others would offer the same.
no subject
Of course. It would be terrible for a child to be separated from their father here. There's are too many dangers here as well as strangers.
[ And Alice would hate to see a child here. ]
