They don't want to abandon their home. So I want to move it.

What side I'm on? The only side I'm on is saving this world and as many people in it as I can. I don't care about your court or the other one.

[ mako's response doesn't come for a while. dude's touchy. and if he's the first avatar, it makes sense he'd be about saving it all, he doesn't know about the cycles yet.

but that's not why he doesn't trust unseelies, and he may as well let wan know. ]

Unless you can change the way the rest of the Unseelie Court behaves, I don't have the luxury of blind trust these days — not when they've tried to kill my daughter and I have the scars to prove it.

I'm sorry about your daughter. But the actions of some of those who have shards the Unseelie court claims as theirs doesn't mean everyone with a shard claimed by them is out to hurt you. And acting like they are only keeps the cycle of hate going.

I never said all of them were, but you've got to agree letting a stranger into your blind side means risks, and it's better to be cautious. I'll do what I have to to keep my family safe and alive.

[There was a difference between caution and treating someone as the enemy because of the court that claimed their shard. But Wan realized he was speaking with someone that didn't feel they could take that 'risk'. With understandable reason for it. It didn't make the frustration lesson any, but he he could understand, even if he didn't agree.]
