[The video feed shows Bethany in, what some might recognize, as Cothromach, though there are still effects of the previous attack and it's damn cold for anyone to be out and about.

However, it appears she's not alone. There's a small group organized to provide hot soup to people who are in need of something warm, as well as any blankets they managed to gather up for those who are lacking.]

I hope everyone is managing to keep warm. My name is Bethany Hawke, if we haven't met. I've been helping however I can here in Cothromach. If you're in trouble, please let me know so I or another can find you and help you. It doesn't take long for this weather to have an effect.

[A slight smile.]

Luckily, some of my magic has been returned to me, including a fire spell. It should come in handy if anyone needs to be warmed up quickly. Not to be cast on you, of course, but I think we could all do with a little thawing right about now.

That's not so far. The ring should get me there quickly enough, right?

[She's still new to this, but the ring did get her to Cothromach.]

Should I bring anything for you? Some food or anything?

It should!

[Pod smiles.]

If one could be spared, a blanket would be welcome. Kiga and I weren't expecting such cold when we left for Caer Glaem to help Heal the beasts hurt by the Jabberwock's rot.

And we'd never turn down food, would we boy?

[The wolverine croons out what is obviously an agreement.]

Alright, I'll bring them.

[She thinks she can manage to get away for awhile. As long as it's not too long. Hopefully the rings will keep the trip quick, though she'd prefer it if Pod would come back to the city with her.

It takes a little time to travel, but soon she's coming upon Pod's little camp.]

Thank you! We’ll be waiting.

[Pod tries to get some broth hot while she waits. It wouldn’t do not to have something to offer her guest. It’s thin, and could use salt, but has a nice gamey flavor from the rabbit bones stewed in it. When she spots Bathany coming closer, she lifts her hands up and waves.]

Over here! There’s space by the fire and a little hot—well, warm, broth if you’d like it.

[At the greeting, Bethany can't help but smile. That Pod would trouble herself with offering something to eat shows what a nice girl she is. Well mannered, too!]

Thank you. Let's both have some. I brought some fresh bread that will go well with it.

[There are some other things she brought to eat as well, since she didn't know how long Pod intended to stay out here.]

[Pod smiles, and starts ladling some into her bowl, and then some more into the lid of her pot.]

I don't have bowls for two, I'm afraid, but it's not the presentation that counts so much as the warmth, right?

[She hands one to Bethany and keeps the lid for herself. When Kiga comes over to sniff, she lets him lap at it as if it's completely natural.]

And the bread will be most welcome!

[That Pod is going through any trouble at all is already more than hospitable.]

Of course. Thank you for this.

[She takes a roll of bread from the bag and offers it to Pod as she accepts her bowl of food.]

You seem to be very capable of camping out like this. Do you do it often?

Since I've been here, it seems like I've done very little but camp out. It was a learning experience, at first, as I'd never camped in winter before, but now it's familiar.

[She laughs]

I suppose my first attempt all those years ago taught me a few things! Never again will I go without a well-packed scrip.

[She's out here all the time? Well Bethany doesn't approve of that.]

You could move to the city. I'm sure there are many people and animals that would benefit from your care.

[She smiles and laughs, shaking her head a little.]

I've got a nice little room now, in the Cothromach, but there's so much to do. The animals hurt by the Jabberwock, and now this unnatural cold that's frozen them.

Though I must say, I hope that I'll get a chance to rest soon. The cold is quite tiring!

I've the idea to set up a place, with help, of course, where both people and animals may come for healing, but I've not had much time to actually get started on it yet.

[Bethany tries some of the food, which does wonders to keep her warm in the cold weather.]

Where do you plan to build this clinic of yours?

I was thinking, since I plan to live in Cothromach from now on, that I would have it there? At least to start. I might well decide to move it later, but for now, I cannot think of anywhere better.

[Pod is pleased to describe her plans, though a little sad that Hermione will not have the time to help, as it was her idea first. But she is doing good in her own way, so Pod will make sure this happens.]

Perhaps we can work together, then. I planned to have a more permanent clinic, as well, and room in the city is not always easy to come by.

[Bethany think they might be able to assist even more people and animals that way.]

[Pod beams.] That's a marvelous idea! I know I cannot do it on my own and any help is wonderful!

Good. I think it'll be easier for us to get started and help more people.

Yes, it will! Have you a particular place in mind? I've not even begun looking for buildings to house it in. I did spend time looking into methods and magics of Healing and what gods here preside over it though!

Not yet, but once this disaster passes, I hope to look a little more actively.

Then we should keep in touch. I will look also, but perhaps a little later. There are so many beasts that need Healing still, where the Jabberwock traveled.

I understand. Just be careful, alright?

[Finishing her meal, she gets to her feet. She can't stay long, since her help is still needed in Cothromach.]

[Dinner finished, Pod starts packing up to go back out searching for animals to help.]
