Hello, for those of you I haven't yet met, I'm Harry.

[The video footage is of a young man with messy black hair, one bottle-green eye, and half his face silvered over with old scarring. On the damaged side, he has a red amber prosthetic in place of an eye. In the background, there's a crow that periodically peers over his shoulder.]

The queen has tasked me to talk to every one of the Unseelie and ask for a memory of solidarity, overcoming great odds, or defeating a foe. With these, she can use it to create a better, stronger defence for a rebuilt Caer Scima.

It's going to take time to do this — at the very least, a few months — so there's no hurry to meet and I've the ability to get to pretty much anywhere in the Drabwurld quickly.

[He looks down at a bit of paper that's just out of sight; seems like someone made notes before talking.]

Sharing a memory is done through magic, it doesn't hurt, I won't look at anything you don't want me to see and I'll swear to that.

If you're doing this, you know the queen well.

This isn't a question, but a request. I want to know everything you know about our queen, and I'll give you a memory of mine. I want to know what you know about her motivations, and how it all ties to the goals of the Seelie.

[There's a pause.]

You can do that, right? Since you're personally slaving over such a task for her.

I'll tell you what I know, but frankly, it's not as much as I'd like. I will say this, as far as I've seen, she's always been honest with us.

[ Harry shrugs. She's not perfect, but she's a far sight better than most he reasons. ]

As far as I know, her motives are to complete the great gem, which is made up of shards, and use that to cast back the Void and stop the end of all things. The Seelie say that it's best to let everything die, to let all our worlds end, and that it's supposed to work that way.

She ever tell you why the Seelie shardbearers really but into something like that?

[It's not a matter of honesty with Jason. The truth is that he hasn't spoken to this queen, so he's seeking what information he can before he has the opportunity to do so.]

She didn't tell me, no.

[ He knows, but he's not about to talk about it where the monarchs can see. ]

I've heard a few rumours, but nothing concrete. Just that they believe everything and everyone is meant to die and it's best to just let it happen. They like rules over there.

I'm just concerned as to why the chickens are all crossing the road just because the rule book told them to. Most people aren't keen on rule books that involve taking lives the way they're trying to do it. I'd say it's strange being on the side that throws all that to the wind, but that's just me.

They're told they're fighting the good and noble fight against the unclean, unholy forces of darkness that live only to revel in slaughter or something of that sort.

[It's not entirely a joke. There's something biting about his tone that hints at his having been told something very much like what he's just said.]

Yeah, I heard some of that. [It's hard to believe that they might all swallow it, though. Can't they see them? Are they that dense?

He decides to vocalize that last part.]

They must be pretty stupid to fall for it.

People want to believe what they want. Very clever people can believe all sorts of things if it makes their lives feel easier or safer.

I had a friend that said a big lie is easier to swallow than a little one.

If your morality lies in a lie, what morality is it? [He considers saying more, but shrugs it off.]

I don't have an answer to that. Not one I like.
