Voice - LOCKED TO UNSEELIE

[There was a terrifying rage underlying Saber's quiet, controlled words.]

If you are not helping with evacuations, either go to the infant Jabberwock the Seelie forced into this world or join me on the battlefield to prevent the Seelie soldiers from doing any more damage.

Should you choose neither of these three options, pray that I never find out.

[ WELL WELL WELL, turns out leaving the castle was the right call. ]

[Whelp, if there's anyone that knows exactly what's trying its damndest to control Saber right then, it would be Sakura.]

Contact your sister and tell her that you are alive. I do not care how much you and her may not want to talk, just let her know that you are alive.

[ She knows, and that pains Sakura above all things. To know she did that to her, put that taint inside of her. It pains her and she can't do a thing to make it better. ]

[There are four whose deaths could turn Saber into the tyrant she's been accused of being by the Seelie. No one wants that.]

[ And now she's worried about Saber, worried about what she might do and how little she can do in return. ]

Please talk to me if you ever feel like that is the only choice left. I'll do my best to dissuade you.

[That was how things were with Saber. She resisted Angra Mainyu with her vast willpower, but it was constantly pulling at her, tearing at her, driving to drive itself deeper into her soul as it tried to rip out the remnants of the silver knight from her. And she was very good at resisting it... but she still needed to release the rage, the hopelessness, the despair from time to time to alleviate the pressure. When Sakura was her Master, she was the one that did that for the Servant. That was the clarity Saber referred to. And without that clarity, she needed to find other ways to vent the darkness.

Because, without it, eventually it would build up and build up until Saber couldn't take it anymore, and it consumed her.

And this was the point where Saber was at. She needed to release some of the evil before it ate her alive, warping her into a ravening dragon that existed to destroy and rage and commit atrocious acts until something rose up to end her. It was lucky for them that there were Seelie enemies she could turn her rage upon while she still held some control, though vastly unlucky for them.]

You know I will most likely not have the rational thought to do so. [She would become worse the Berserker had been and she knew it.] And if I have the will to contact another, it will be to the one I love... the one I know will find a way to kill me before I destroy everything.

I... I need to go now. The battle will calm me. It must calm me.

[ And if Sakura could take the taint from Saber and keep it herself, she would. Even if that meant forcing Rin to go down on a path that meant her death all over again, even if it meant losing her sanity. In her mind, Saber never stopped being her responsibility, her burden to bear. Sakura is only mildly aware of how boons work so far, but when she learns of them in detail... ]

You mean Rin, right? I had the feeling something had changed. [ That one time at her chambers, Sakura was paying more attention that she seemed to. Several days had to pass before she connected the dots, though. ]

I'm not your Master anymore, but all I can say is this: go, Saber, rid yourself of your rage. And then return to us, please.

My lady most likely hates me right now. It wants me to hurt everyone. And I could not stop it. So I hurt her where I knew it would hurt the most. She must hate me, and I deserve it.

[Saber then growled, her rage rising again.]

I will bleed it out of myself.

[She become far more self-destructive after the corruption got into her. It was penance. It was always penance for her failures, making herself suffer so.

And that was the last Sakura got from Saber. The tainted Servant needed the battle, one way or another.]
