[ She would use the video function but there's blood everywhere -- on her hands, her mouth, her chin. There will be more, if she has her way. Her voice is tight with barely concealed emotion -- rage, worry. Next to her comes the low sounds of a wolf who seems to be in pain; poor Brennan had felt it when Caer Scima was attacked, his howl having split across the battlefield like a clap of thunder. ]
If you can be spared or have the capacity, go put out the fires in La Llorona. Caer Scima's destroyed, if you haven't already heard the news. Any refugees can head for the third spire, if they need a place to go. I'd offer my manor as well, but you'll have to get through the burning forest to get there. Still, if you can, it's open to you.
[ A hissed breath. ]
Let me know if you're out of there. And- if anyone knows if a vampire named Aindrea got out of Caer Scima, please tell me.
Oh, and if you still think this war doesn't involve you, is something you can avoid? You're an idiot.

video;
They obviously weren't intended for this battle, seeing as they aren't done yet. And they protect the people that live in them, that live in the north reaches of Dorchadas.
[ Shame they're not having this conversation face-to-face or she'd give him that slap she thought about giving him all those months ago. ]
If we leave this field now, they will go into Dorchadas and slaughter everyone who's still alive. That's not an option. The noncombatants need a place to stay, to recover from any injuries they sustained at Caer Scima, and Mair is too far.
video;
[The words are stiff, hard and measured. Behind them is bridled rage that she would dare insinuate cowardice or that she would have the nerve to even say it to him, even from the safety of a locket. If this had been face to face, he might not have bothered with restraint.]
The spires are in danger. I have given you my warning. But if you wish to stay, so be it. If the Seelie come for you, you will alert me. I can muster up an army large enough to cover a retreat for your charges. But do not think I will forget what you have said.
[The locket is locked close in his hand and thrust into his pocket. He is left to impatiently wait with his army for the next battle. It is a frustrating thing to lie in wait and spring the trap when this chaos is going on all around.]
