[ Jackson's demands are simple: ]

Derek! McCall! I don't know how you've managed this smoke-and-mirrors bullshit, or if you think this is some kind of funny hazing ritual--

[ He puts the locket down. It continues to broadcast his image looking around his room, as if searching for hidden cameras. ]

And whoever's in on it with them? I don't care about your stupid war, I'm not part of their little clique, just tell me how to get me out of here.

( this is not a face she was expecting to see. possibly ever. and she just... stares, for a long time, before she picks her own locket up and pokes at it until she knows her face and voice display together. she quickly masks her shock ((and the pain associated with stupid fucking jackson and his stupid fucking face)) and tries to be relatively composed, because he's already disoriented. and pissed. )

Jackson? Is that actually you?

( make sure he never sees her in danger again until jeff davis shafts them and ruins everything for everyone who ever loved them together, sighs dramatically. lydia heaves a sigh of relief and her eyes close and the tight knot in her stomach is easy to ignore. she's sure he'll have a lot of questions at an increasing level of frustration as their conversation continues, but starting small is good. )

You'd be surprised the tricks this place can pull. ( she holds up a finger. ) Hold on - I've been keeping track on a calender - ( then she disappears, to fetch said object. when she comes back, she looks a little surprised at herself, and... kind of drained. she hadn't even realized it'd been so long. ) - Almost ten months ago. But that's not important. Where are you? Do you know?
