This wolf is enormous.

[ Katsa can be heard before she's seen, her locket instead in the face of a fully-grown direwolf that's shoving his nose in front of it in her hands. She pushes him out of the way, backs up so that she can be seen in scale with the direwolf: her blue and green eyes are overbright, red-rimmed as though she's been crying, but her voice when she speaks is loud and demanding. ]

What potions or tonics would turn dark hair blue?

An indigo plant would be a good start. It's a natural blue pigment.

Do you know where I could find it? What it looks like? I'm not much use with plants.

I couldn't describe it off the top of my head. If you're at your court, I'd grab a herbal book for something that'll be accurate.

Maybe. That might not be worth the effort. Isn't there something I can just... do? That wouldn't involve shuffling through books?

Well honestly, you might well need to look in a book for a tonic or potion recipe. Unless you're quite lucky to get someone who has a spell or something on hand, in which case, seize that knowledge immediately.

I'll seize it and make sure I can keep it. I imagine you don't know any of those as easily, either. Do you know plants well?

I'm better with their chemical compounds but--

You know what? Let me see if where I am has an herbal laying about. If it's illustrated, I can switch to a visual feed and show you an image of the plant so you know what you're looking for. How's that?

That sounds better. I still won't know where to look, but I'll have a better idea if I happen upon it. I imagine few people would know their location, instinctively. It's a start.
