[ hello, network! have you grown tired of thomas yet? i hope not. the feed begins with two teenagers, both fairly grimy looking. though minho seems to be in and out, thomas is the one cupping the locket in his hands to speak into it; a table with a miniature version of caer scima is visible in the background.

thomas, as usual, isn’t quite sure how to start this thing. ] Hey. [ #nailed it ] Tensions are getting pretty bad right now. [ captain obvious. maybe minho should talk. ]

Really? [ yeah, somebody isn’t the greatest at social media. minho appears with a bunch of rolled up papers in one arm, the other going to drop over thomas’ shoulder. ] I don’t think anybody noticed that, Tommy. [ dryly ] So, let’s just cut to the chase - getting people to safety before the klunk comes crashing down.


[ if thomas’s ears pinken in a little, he covers it with a roll of his eyes, clapping minho on the bicep to get him to move. he does, if reluctantly, going to gather up more of their work. the moral of the story quickly becomes that both of these boys don't trust much of anything. ] Minho and I have been mapping out the surrounding areas of Caer Scima out to Quendi and a few places beyond that. If the Unseelie lines hold and the castle’s safe--great. If not, then it’d be smart to get your shuck butt out of the surrounding area as soon as possible. Where I'm from, nothing's sacred, no matter how safe it feels.

Between the two of us-- [ he glances at minho, who salutes with one of his rolled up maps ]--three of us, with Teresa-- we can run people out a few at a time using the fairy rings, but we’re going to need help.

[ minho takes this moment to come up behind thomas again, right against his back to peer down into the locket. ] This includes people with safe places for refugees to head to. We’ve got some places we can go, but depending on numbers… well, better to have as many spots for people to go as possible. Nobody needs to make a target out of themselves with everybody from the castle in one building. [ minho ruffles the back of thomas’ hair as he draws back. ]

I don’t think anybody fighting this war wants this kind of bloodshed. [ thomas sounds a little bitter for a second. ] I don’t want any more bloodshed. The more lives we can save with this, Shardbearer or not, the better. If you’re in Caer Scima and want a way out, reply back, and privately. We can set up an exchange, or show you the quickest routes away from the castle and to some kind of safety. Even if it feels like it's too late, just--contact one of us, and we'll find a way to get you out.

[ minho pipes up one last time from behind him: ]

Just stay safe, regardless of what you’re doing. Nobody needs to die ‘cause they did something stupid.

[ thomas nods, and the feed cuts. ]

[It's instinctual at this point to case over the room, but he doesn't expect anything threatening. It's just default.]

Bellamy. [...handshaking. When was the last time he did that? Bellamy offers his own hand out with a second's awkward delay, the shake firm but quick before he pulls it back. He follows further into the room, taking care not to step or break anything.] How long've you been working on this?

Six months or so. Since we got here. Minho and I know this castle pretty much in and out. [ carefully picking his way back across the room, thomas stops at the table. the model of caer scima, carefully built out of what look like tiny sticks. all of the rooms of residence, the throne room, the bailey--everything is carefully marked and then sectioned off according to the layout of the castle. there are pathways marked out in red paint as well, following the open paths left through the castle.

the papers are on the floor are copies, it looks like, painstakingly copied for the past several nights. ] We have plenty of supplies, but if you want a paper copy of your own, you have to help. Sound fair?

[Six months is a long time, long enough that they'd had to have accomplished a lot. Looking over the papers and maps on the floor makes that clear. It's a hell of a lot that a newbie would know.]

[Bellamy takes a minute looking them all over, before replying.] I'm not much of an artist, but I know someone who is. She'd probably make a better copy. [A beat.] What other kinda help do you need?

Mostly, we just need people who can draw straight lines. [ thomas reaches up to rub the back of his neck--Minho's the one who said he sucks at drawing straight. ] We want to get as many of these out to people before things go down the klunker as possible.

[ he pauses for a second, glancing bellamy over. he looks like a traveler. someone well worn--there's a look in his eyes that thomas has seen reflected back at him whenever he looks in the mirror. ] ...We also need people to trace some places we haven't been yet. There's only three of us right now, and that's just not enough to traverse all of the Unseelie land, let alone if we want to get over into Seelie.

If you plan on leaving and you're up for it, we could use the help. [ thomas's mouth quirks up in a hint of a grin. ] As long as you've got the stuff for it, but I think you probably do.

[Bellamy raises an eyebrow at the glance over, though at least it's devoid of the usual levels of condescending.] I don't plan on staying all that stationary. [The castle's nice, but from the sound of the war coming, a stronghold like this is clearly a target. If Thomas and his friends are planning on evacuating people, that only adds to how dangerous the threat is growing.]

Like I said, I can't draw for shit, but I'll pass along anything you might not have. [It's worth sharing, if it gets them a look at the map already made. Besides, he expects to be with Clarke most of the time anyway, so she can take care of the art part.] How hard is it to cross into the Seelie side of things?
