video ─ both courts.

[ The elf is found amongst the trees, so high as to be consumed by the foliage. He sits with a lap full of arrows to be fletched ( as well as one more important arrow set a part from the rest, feathers weather worn ) and scowl upon his lips. This is the first he as appeared in such a manner, and he does not do so with a smile and warm words. ]

Watching you all scurry around preparing for war is much watching ants; curious for a moment but boring swiftly after. [ Ants so easily crushed, decimated. Mindless drones in service of a queen, ha. ] Glosse, que bloed raenn aig a' cuislean dhe weddin. They will bleed you dry and the fault shall lay with you for letting them.

[ Single eye looks away from the locket, hands busying with his self appointed task. ]

I wonder, once the smoke has cleared which among the swine shall climb on top the pile of corpses and proclaim 'I win.'

[ Such a happy fellow, aint he? Ah, but before ending he picks up the separate arrow and holds it for the locket to record. ]

Your arrow, Elvenking. [ Inside joke, none of you will get it. ]

Ever am I thankful for sparing their kind hearts. [ He nods his head in an exaggerated sort of thanks. ] One day, perhaps, when no longer do I feel the hot breath of battle upon my neck, you should tell me more of your home. It is bound to keep you occupied for a time, and it will sate my curiosity!

[ To birds, one stone, etc!! Legolas is an awfully nosy elf, indeed. And he returns the grin, sharp and knowing. ]

If you were so kind as to not to, aye.

[ The truth is, it's more a game than something he truly wishes to keep from Thranduil. ]
orcsurfing: (what are you waiting for?)

[ Even with just little, his heart goes out to Iorveth. To live in a world where he thinks there have been no spark of light, where all tales threaded in the dark. ]

Yet they are your tales, those that could help me know you better. I can steel my heart against the darkness of them for that purpose.

[ Though he will never insist. Whatever Iorveth wishes to tell him, he'll welcome, if it is nothing... he will accept that as well. ]

Then all the more I ought to appreciate your kindness towards me. [ His lips part in a small huff of a laugh, so very pleased, though it's more subdued now, appropriately for the overall subject of conversation. ] My thanks.
