Which are mechanical inventions. I am referring to people that can fly on their own, hover in the air. I, myself, can run up the side of skyscrapers while engaging in combat, walk upon water as if it were solid ground.

I do not dispute the presence of science, but you need to understand that magic and powers greater than science are at work here.
