For the ones who target those vulnerable specifically to make them suffer, or think their pleasure outweighs their suffering, yes. Men, mankind - [That's maybe not the best word used here.] Men, women, children, whatever they choose to call themselves, are not commodities. But the world operates by commerce - [as Bonnaire had once said] - and finds ways to treat them as such, whether through something as outright as purchase, or balancing what they have and deciding it's in their interests to hold onto that than expend and lessen someone else's misery. It's easy for people to turn away.
