These actions paint the tale of being intentional, whether or not she fully comprehends her doing so is another story entirely. ]

What is this world's highest power? [ Not who, but what. She seeks out power beyond the mortal realm and feels as if this doesn't need clarification despite asking the captive populace. ]

Those who the sovereign answer to. [ Arcueid does clarify on that point as she sucks in her lower lip in thought, baring one of her fangs. ] Mystical creatures of power, magic... perhaps a god.

Yes, a god is exactly what I seek.

[Well, different terminology and all, but when you're someone like Lucifer who hops from universe to universe so often, you get really used to that.

Although admittedly, that's the first time she'd heard the term True Ancestor.

Still, her question...she just wouldn't be Lucifer if she didn't answer it in a far more complicated manner than she has to.]

Hey, let me ask you something first...are you familiar with the great cycle? Of destruction and rebirth? It's a nature thing, so maybe you've heard of it.

I know of destruction. [ She destroys and destroys. An easy concept.

While she fails to comprehend why that is, Arcueid knows that she destroys because it's what she's been called to do. ]

Destruction and Creation are two halves of one whole...the simplest way to put it would be "out with the old, in with the new". It could be something as small as a group of people being killed, to an entire universe being wiped out in the blink of an eye, but... either way, destruction is all part of a cycle that propagates reality as we know it.

With the way things are happening here, I think we're about to see the conception of a new beginning for this world too. Whatever happens, our actions will probably shape the result...we'll 'destroy' the current order, so that something new can come from it.

So with that in mind, I really do think you were brought here for a reason, to help the world. But that's a responsibility that's been given to everyone, I think. Not just you.

For the time being, it just seems you're more inclined to pursue that than anyone else.
