For those who knew her, the Lady Eowyn is gone. She left little, but what remains I have accounted to myself. She is, I hope, safely home once again.

We will be. And I will remember that. It is heartening to know that there is someone who can come, should I ever face trouble I cannot overcome with only myself and Kiga.

[More than he can know, because but for the grace of the gods bringing a rescuer that one time, she would be dead now. And these lockets would let her call to him right away, as well, no matter where he would be. Pod's smile is as bright as sunlight.]

It may not be experience with wolves that solves the riddle, though. I shudder to think of the many things that could drive beasts from their homes.

I will be as careful as I can. But I should go. The quicker I find the reason, the quicker I, or others, can solve it, and I can return to investigate the library better.
