Since then he'd been slipping by invisibly using his telepathy when possible in order to avoid attention while he made sense of the change. Acceptance was still an ongoing process.

The one I can learn quickest that will stop me from getting killed. [He gives Nuada the look of someone who knows he's made a bad joke.] I'm afraid I'm not all that knowledgeable about martial arts - I've been a scholar for most of my life. I suppose the basics would be best and then deciding where to move on from there.
