Car-ra? Yeah well, I wouldn't say it's any prettier than my name - it sorta comes off the tongue with a note, y'know? CAR and RAH, see? - but I can kinda see how they'd make the mistake. Some names just have that weird way of being pronounced differently because of spelling or, um, y'know how people pronounce their words in subtle other ways because of where they grew up...
