[He swallows, his gaze flickering off to the side, where, unseen to the camera, Steve is nodding and giving him a thumbs up.]

[He hesitates when he says it, because... it's the first time he's said it. That he can remember.]

[He frowns.]

So I'm sorry. If you knew me before. I don't remember you.

[He glances over to the side again, shifts, shakes his head. He's done, he doesn't want to do this anymore.]

[The joke is... well he recognizes it as a joke, which is helpful, but he doesn't laugh.

But knowing... knowing that he's not the only one, at least when it comes to this particular kind of amnesia, that's helpful. That's... it's a little bit of a relief, knowing he won't get these memories and he doesn't have to feel responsible for them.]

Odd. From what I can tell, there's no pattern to who's brought to the Drabworld. [M...ostly via telepathy, but no one needs to know that.] It could be coincidence.

[He has no idea. And it's not something he cares to investigate, really. Not when he still has to figure out how to get his arm working and how to navigate his own amnesia.]
