[Pissed would be an understatement for what it is that Leia Organa currently feels. But, a lifetime of training and lack of visible irritants leaves her at least looking calm. She's been here long enough to have watched the goings-on through the strange little lockets and her quiet observations to get a feel for the place, mostly. And she feels confident enough to address the other residents of the strange world.]

I would like to thank our hosts for the lovely accommodations and food. Also, the change of clothes left in the closet of my new room fit perfectly.

[If sarcasm was an Olympic sport, Leia would win gold every time.]

However, the minor detail of being taken against my will to fight in a war I understand nothing about against others in a similar situation as myself hardly sits well with me. And from what I can tell from my observations, many others feel the same way. Sitting here and berating the rulers of both courts seems like a true waste of time, and so does demanding that I be returned to my own world, despite what important things I am needed for.

If you think that I will just lay down and accept this as a permanent situation, you are sadly mistaken. I won't fight for your cause because you think I must. I will fight against this form of...slavery with every drop of blood in my body.

To those like-minded, know that I will ally with you, no matter what "court" you happen to be a member of at present.

I am fully capable of being diplomatic. However, diplomacy is no longer available to my captors once I've been held against my will. [She's more polite now that she's not stating her intentions so boldly.]

I did, though I am hardly sorry for not giving my name quite so freely. However, I'm Leia Organa.

Some might say that in circumstances such as these, diplomacy is the most effective weapon available to you.

Perhaps, but until they show themselves to me, I must proceed under my own power. And that is to find allies in my quest to return home.

[She's got a boyfriend to save from gangsters and a galaxy to liberate from a corrupt old Sith Lord. She's a busy lady back home. No time for these dumb games.]

Can you tell me, Lady Galadriel, how long you've been here? I would like to actually hear from someone who has some extensive knowledge about this world that isn't the slanted propaganda that I found in the "library" of this castle.

That has been no small a source of frustration for me in my time here, in fact. It has been over half a year since my arrival and still I know far less than I would like. But I will gladly tell you all that I can.

For half a year? [A standard year in her galaxy is ten months, but lasts just as long, so it's still means the same to her.]

That is a long time to be separated from all that you know and love. What can you tell me of the rulers of the courts? I haven't met them as yet, since they ddin't bother to show to the feast, despite spots being designated for them.

I can speak only of the Seelie King and Queen in any great detail; I have not met their counterparts, of course.

They are- [She pauses and purses her lips] -quite extraordinary. I have not sensed such power since my youth, when I was in the presence of the Valar themselves.

Of course, that would make sense.

[She'll probably have to ask someone in the other court what the Unseelie rulers are like.

The answer isn't surprising, but it doesn't make it any better for Leia either.]

It stands to reason that the other rulers would be just as powerful if they've been unable to resolve their conflict by now.

So it does. I do know that something of the same may be said for the Unseelie Queen; my cousins have said as much. They have not spoken of the King.

[Leia frowns thoughtfully. This is actual information that she can put to use, if only she knows how. That, however, is the crux of the issue. How is it applicable to their situation.]

So, they are stalemated by their own power levels and are forced to recruit outsiders to be "Shardbearers" if I have that correct. To what ends though.
