You think so? It seems to me there's a lot to see out there—and I don't mean just the people.

I've seen lands at war. And magic, or near enough to it. It got boring even with a companion to speak with. Perhaps there will be some new things. But the overarching truths will be the same.

Y'mean none of this is new to you? I wouldn't have thought there'd be anyplace else like this one.

Creatures here are new. So are powers. But living things are living things. This war is not a new thing. The way people live out there will not be new. The things they want, the things they sacrifice for.

The clothes are different, but it's still life.

[ There's a pause on his end, then: ]

I can't imagine life is the same in any two places. Everything here has already been new for me.

[ Well, she has a weird way of looking at things...even though she's curious, she's very very very tired of life in general. Ignore her, Eren. ]

It isn't something you would think or notice until you were older. Perhaps someday you'll think the same. It is good that things are still new to you, however.

I doubt my age has anything to do with it.

What do you think has to do with it, then?

This world has a lot more. The way people think is different, too. That's not something growing up more where I'm from would get me used to before ending up here.

How is it different? I suppose that could be the case. To me, the way humans think...the specifics might differ, but there are things that remain the same, always.

Oh? Admitting granny has some wisdom in her after all?

I say this, but I'll admit the people here are interesting, for now. [ Not interesting enough to change her heart's desire, but. ] Holiday parties. Fairy wars. Different worlds. I'm not entirely bored.

I'm a granny in the ways that matter, such as age. [ So there. ]

Hm. Observe people. Go places to observe people. That hunt-thing might be interesting to see. I will go to it. And I heard something of a party, so perhaps I will go to that. It will be a chance to speak to people from that other court, and to see how things are.

[ So her plans are "socialize in order to observe people". She probably will not be any less weird or more overtly friendly but what can you do. ]

I guess finding out more from others isn't such a bad idea, but—are you really that serious about hunting things?

Are you going to participate in those sorts of things, too?

[ A shrug. ]

I like to hunt. However, I can't say if I'll be serious about it or not. I like to hunt rabbits. And mice. And birds.

I've never tried hunting before. We've already got food here, anyway.

We do. But catching your own food sometimes is good, too. And that way it's raw.

So that means you don't want to go to that sort of thing, huh.

If I ate raw meat, I'm sure I'd end up puking my guts out for days. [ Do you want that??? ] So no. I don't plan on it.

You could cook whatever you catch, if you must.

No thanks. They cook up better stuff here than anything I could make.

Go places you can meet people. That's the best way to gather information. Perhaps that information will give you a plan, after that.
