So does that mean if I do this– [ That's when Eren turns his own locket around in his hand, giving a view of his impressively barren room (save for the heap of metal making up his gear sitting on an old, wooden table). ] –you can see what's there?

Yeah! Um, if you don't have cameras — think of it as like, a window, but instead of being in a wall it's just in space and shit, and you can move it around. Only, if someone throws rocks at it it probably won't break and they can't climb through and steal all your stuff in your room.

No, I've never heard of a—camera before. I didn't know that—these lockets are still new to me.

Like, the battery... the thing that keeps it lighting up and stuff. My phone's been off since I got here, and I can't charge it, so it's dead —

I don't think they have any. Batteries aren't supposed to work here.
