[ The message is broadcast twice, from two separate lockets. The background is a small inn near Daonna, Waver is in the forefront, while Kaldur has maps spread out across a table, and is quietly casting on the maps and making frantic annotations. ]

Good evening. As many of you have heard by now, much has been made about the threat of Reynard the Fox at Redgate. Doubtlessly, you’ve also noticed that since that announcement no other word has come out of the fortress. This is, to say the least, very alarming.

[ Kaldur looks up, briefly, to face the camera. ]

I am attempting to scry for the locations of individuals known to be at Redgate or near Redgate at this time, in light of the threat Reynard poses, in hopes that more information can be found.

If they have already engaged Reynard, and are trying to fight him, hopefully, we will be able to find out.

Until then, or until we have direct information from Saralegui himself, I would like to ask that everyone who is intending to lend aid to Redgate gather in Daonna. This gives us all an opportunity to group up, prepare, plan, and present a united front if things are as bad as they seem right now. Whenever we have word, we can act together. If you are en route, come to Daonna. If you are already up the mountains, please return.

I realize that I have no authority to enforce this, but I do ask that you heavily consider this option before forging on ahead.

[ In the background, Kaldur looks as though he is about to curse, and pulls Waver’s attention towards what he has found briefly, before setting at it again, and speaking towards the feed. ]

I also urge those who are heading to Redgate to gather with us, until we gain more information and can adequately prepare for what we will be faced with.

Well, I'm not much of a strategist or anything, so if you guys wanna hash that out, you can go ahead and do your thing. [ Bolin shrugs. ] If it'll help to take the risk, I'll take it. I kind of have a responsibility thing happening here anyway, you know?

Strategy or otherwise, it's really not right to send people in unless they're willing and comfortable with it.

[Waver's personal rule has always been that if he is sending someone in to do work for him, then making sure the other person is comfortable with it is the greatest priority. Against Reynard? Doubly so.]

Sure, that's definitely a good thing to keep in mind. I mean, I know I appreciate it. Always better to think about what people are up for. You can just... consider me both of those. Here to help. [ He throws in a light salute and everything. ] Happy to head in or strength in numbers it up.

[Waver's smile is tired, but it is genuine.]

Bolin, if you could go ahead to Redgate and speak with a man named Tzilan, who is helping to hold down the fort. You should assist him in what h needs to keep Redgate safe and stable. Zuko should be joining you.

It's no problem. Find Tzilan, do whatever he needs, keep in touch. And hey, I bet it'll go even better with Zuko around! [ Been a while since he's seen him. He was a little worried.

Bolin's pretty pleased he gets to head in at all, honestly. Call it the earthbender in him, but he likes to be able to get in there and help hands-on. ]

[Waver's not sure how Bolin can be so optimistic in the face of everything that's happened. He does, however, know that he envies Bolin for it.]

So we hope. He will be transporting himself part of the way there, and likely be walking the rest of the way, so if you meet up with him mid-transit, so much the better.

[ A pause. ]

Be careful, Bolin.

Sure thing and sure thing. I mean, Mako and Korra would never let me hear the end of it if I got into a stupid situation without them around anyway, so. [ .... a stupid situation without them around again. Whatever. ]

[ Kaldur gives half a grin at that. ] If you get hurt, they'll rescue you and then skin you alive. And then roast me for enabling it. [ Man, he loves the Krew/Team. ]

See? Exactly! Nothing to worry about. [ Not that he'd even see where it's Kaldur's fault. Keeping Redgate and everyone in it safe is Bolin's top priority in this whole mess of a situation, and it's a situation he plans to take very seriously. If that means getting roughed up a little, he'll just deal with it. 10/10 leadership, Kal, would defend from fire with a rock anytime. ]

Better to just save the stress in case you really need it later.
