[Although Tauriel is well rested from her extended nap, she still peers groggily into the locket, trying to come to terms with what had happened with her. Behind her, anyone who is familiar at all with the Infirmary at Caer Scrima would recognize almost immediately that was where she had found herself. It took her a few moments to be able to articulate anything beyond a blank stare. When she finally does, it is with a voice made hoarse by days of enchanted sleep.]

It seems I ended up not at all where it was I wanted to be. If I made you worry about me, I am sorry... [There was a certain bitterness and disappointment to her tone. This after all was the last place she wanted to be.] If anyone is looking for me I am back at Caer Scrima. I'm not certain what happened. One moment I was in the forest and then I woke up here... The novelty of waking up has worn off already and now I am seeking answers... Such as how did I come to be here again and where those I was traveling with are..

[She did not wish to address outright that she was traveling with people who were Seelie or potentially unaligned at this point, so she left her wording cryptic in the hopes that it would reach the right ears.]

[Now there is someone who can make her smile, and she does so, both happy and sad that Alice is still here.]

Alice Liddell, I am indeed safe, if not a little confused still as to my circumstance.

You are not the first that this has happened to, if it is any consolation.

[Tauriel goes to rub at her head, still feeling groggy, and oddly stiff from laying still for days on end.]

It is some small relief to know that I am not alone in this strange event. Do you know if others were transported back to the Castle that claims them as well or am I unique in that regard.

[She was worried that her return here was not benign as it seemed. The worry showed as she brushed a hand trough her hair. There was considerable more of it currently around her face, since her braid had been undone.]

The nature of the shards is very strange, I wouldn't be surprised for the most part. Rumors aside, mind you.

[She nods in agreement.]

Or the Rulers of this place. [She sighs softly.] This place is all very strange. I assume that it was their doing that I ended up back here once more.

Queen Morla must be very fond of you.

My lady, are you of the Elven race? {Not that it matters. He will aid anyone who requires it.} Tell me the names of your companions and I might be able to offer you aid.

[She nods, unsure of who this person is and if she can trust him, but she is desperate to know about Legolas and the others.]

There is one of my kind, and Eldar by the name of Legolas and others too, Maglor, Nerdanel and the Lady Sif... Companions I was traveling with.

Then I can give you some comfort. Legolas, Lord Maglor and Lady Nerdanel are well. I am sorry to say that I do not know what has befallen the Lady Sif.

{But three out of four isn't so bad?}

[That at least was a start. It was enough t at least have her relax a little, though she was still cautious while speaking to him.]

[She relaxes some seeing Maglor and breaks out into a small smile.]

I am well. A little stiff and very groggy, but I feel as if I have suffered no ill effects. Sorry again to make you worry, It was never my intent.

I am glad - we worried for you, when you and Legolas both vanished. But word came to us that the Prince slept in the Seelie Castle, and so we guessed that you must have been afflicted also - tis only that you are longer in waking than he that prolonged our concern so. But I am glad you took no ill.

We both fell into sleep? I wonder if it has something to do with his quest...

[She was careful not to say more, uncertain as to who or what might be listening. This was after all not a private conversation.]

Again my apologies for making all of you worry. If I could have found a way to inform you I would have.

[She hates people worrying about her the thought of anyone doing so makes her to grimace.]

Perhaps, and perhaps not. [ Maglor shrugs and like her keeps it vague ]

Nay - twas not your fault. No apologies are needed. I am only glad you are safe. In the last round of giftings, I was granted a ring that allows me to travel wheresoe'er I have already been by moonlight. Shall I come and find you? There are those who miss you.

[Oh thank Mahal.] Where have you been? I waited for you at the Masquerade and you never came! Are you alright? Unharmed? Can we meet somewhere?

[He might be a tad frantic. He's had a few important realizations about their...relationship lately.

And also. He now has a full length beard.]

[It takes her a moment to recognize Kili. The beard certainly throws her off, though his voice is unmistakable. She smiles, a little awkwardly, after all what had happened to his face? The last time she had seen him, he was far less... fuzzy.]

I.. I'm sorry. It seems that I fell into some kind of sleep and now find myself back at Caer Scrima...

[Yes she was not happy about that.]

If I still can transform into a bird, I can meet you in a few days time. I just need to know where it is you are?

[Yes she was using him as an excuse to leave Caer Scrima as soon as possible, but she doubted he would mind too much.]

[Kili rubs at his itchy chin --the only downside so far to a beard-- and considers.]

My family and I are making for Cothromach. We could meet there, perhaps?

[He is looking forward to seeing her and also...terrified.]

[That sounds suspiciously like another case of what happened to Thorin and Legolas, and it explains why they haven't seen anything of her at all until now.]

You're not the first to be forced into sleeping, Lady Tauriel.
