[ Minho has been spending most of his time in the Drabwurld just sort of... observing and exploring. Because he's been working to make a better map for the arrivals to use, and has been trying to figure out what would be the best way to go about sharing it. Would something over this weird network work? Who knows.
But he's gotten a little distracted by the whole feathers thing, and has been having a time of figuring them out. He appears on the feed for both courts with one of the little feathers pinched between thumb and forefinger, turning it back and forth. ]
So, before I came here, there wasn't any such thing as magic. It was all science, no... powers, or whatever. [ Thomas and Teresa's telepathy aside, considering that was science, too. ] Gotta say, this's pretty interesting.
[ Except then there's a distressed bleating - behhh! - and Minho snorts abruptly, sticking the feather behind his ear and reaching down out of the amulet's view to pick up... well, what looks like a small deer. ] Except for the part where a certain someone hasn't figured out how to turn back into a person, but y'know. Jeez, greenie...
[ But he turns his attention back to the world at large, nestling the fawn in his muscled arms. ] Anyways. The feathers are literally, like, everywhere. But has anyone figured out what all they do, or found anything else while picking 'em up? Like new places or some klunk.

[ this is the tone of someone that's both shocked and maybe a little amused, like thomas would purposely turn himself into an animal before he knew how the change back. ]
I leave you two alone for five minutes, and this is what you-
[ BOYS!!! and yeah it's been longer than five minutes, she's exploring, out on her own ( just around the castle, let's be real she's not about to go very far without Thomas ). but. ]
I'm coming back.

I had no part in this! I looked away for a second and all of a sudden he gets the bright shucking idea to do something without knowing how to fix it.
[ Or, y'know. How to change back. Yeah, this is their greenbean. ]
We ain't moving.

[ and now she's wondering about the feather that she found, one that she definitely held for a while, but- ]
I wonder why mine didn't. It's not like mine looked much different than Thomas'.
[ THINKYTHINK ]
--Although now I'm a little reluctant to touch it again.

[ He shakes his head a little, ignoring the feather that's behind his ear. After messing with it, Minho knows what it does. He's just taking care not to trigger it or anything. ]
Dunno. Might need some intent, or something. But then again, Tommy ate it.
no subject
Yeah, he told me that. I wish I could say I was shocked, but...
[ not at all shocked ]
Hopefully someone will know how to reverse something like that. Maybe.

I keep telling him to slow down while he eats, but does he listen? Noooo.
[ But he pats at Tommy's back, anyways. ]
If not, we can try to get him to cough it up.
no subject
[ not quite a whiney eeeeeww, but it's accompanied by a very grossed out face ]
I'm sure it'll- pass. Naturally.
[ still gross. and she's still kind of laughing but ewww ]
Just- don't try and make him cough it up. There's no good way to do that.
no subject
[ Minho scrunches up his face, considering that.
But then he just shakes his head. ]
We're not gonna do anything that he doesn't want, so we'll just let him decide.
no subject
obviously making a joke at Thomas' expense is the best way to do that ]
And besides, even if that doesn't work, I'm actually fine with hanging out with a little deer.
no subject
But he's keeping an eye on her, regardless. If she tries to take Thomas out of his arms, he's not going to let her. ]
He's pretty cute, ain't he? [ BEH ] Just gotta give him some clovers or somethin' to make up for no steak ever again.

[ teresa isn't laughing no no way ]

thomas makes another unhappy honk noise and sulks into minho's arm, ears flopping down, all big, unhappy doe eyes.
as long as minho didn't tell her that he ate the feather it's fine. ]

thomas is pouting. a lot.
but it occurs to him a couple seconds later that he can actually communicate with teresa--he probably just did--and thomas huffs, his tiny little deer body puffing up and dropping back down in a sigh. ] I didn't do this on purpose.

[ not exactly startled by the voice in her head, but no, she wasn't expecting that. it... kind of makes sense. it's weird, but it makes sense. she almost tries to think back at him, but she knows she can't yet. it won't work. it's frustrating, but she knows better than to try ]
You are so pouting, you're- deer-pouting. Your ears are pouting. [ but that's not the point ] Tell me what happened? Maybe I can ask around, see if anybody here has any experience with this kind of thing.

but he does at least stop hiding his face, and instead drops his little legs over minho's arm, putting his head down, too. ] I was eating dinner and I had one of those feathers set out on the table, because I was trying to look at it--I mean, it was really small. And I guess I was eating too fast, and...
[ now he hangs his head in shame he is not saying out loud (mentally) that he accidentally ate the feather. ]

[ 80% alarmed, 20% ..okay no, she's mostly alarmed. ]
That- might explain why you haven't changed back yet.

[ her top 8 here consists of six pictures of one Tom Edison, followed by a picture of Effy, then a picture of Minho. and that's her trying really hard to fill up those eight spots, ok ]
Your secret's safe with me. Promise.
-- Except I don't know how I'm going to help you find answers to turn back if I can't explain what happened...

thomas behhhhhhhhs again, and this time it's extra pathetic, dropping straight downwards and looking absolutely miserable. ] What if I'm stuck like this forever?
no subject
[ no really please stop, she's starting to feel irrationally bad for him. it's his own dumb fault!! the way he eats, she's not even shocked that he managed to wolf down a feather! but still. ]
You won't be stuck like that forever. I promised, didn't I? I'll just- ask someone with magic if they know a way to reverse the effect of the feathers. Easy.
no subject
Don't ask Stiles!
[ thomas has no idea if they're actually friends or not but the thought is terrifying. ]
no subject
I won't, I won't! Not... first, at least.
[ she maybe really doesn't have that many friends here, yet. but she'll ask a few strangers first. or maybe the imps that are flying around, although they reeeaally don't seem to like her very much. ]
no subject
Maybe it happened to someone else? I don't know. There has to be something...Just, you can't tell him first. No way.
[ miserably: ] I almost miss the Scorch.
[ and followed by a little "beh", deer tongue sticking out of his mouth. (maybe there was a little humor to that.) ]
