( 001 ) clairvoyance // video // unlocked to both courts.

( The image that appears isn't that of the owner of the voice, but a sketchbook. In it, a sketch, of one of the areas of the inside of Caer Scima. One that Clary herself did. There are other drawings, but she's not about to divulge them just yet. For now... )

I've only ever seen archways close to this at the New York Institute... The architecture here doesn't match what I've seen of fairies' work before. They're underground, in their realm, and just about everything is made out of trees and leaves and flowers. This is... Completely different. I'm trying to draw pretty much anything and everything that I can. If I ever make it back... There are people who'd wanna know all of this. Anyway...

( The video shifts focus to a redheaded girl with bright green eyes, covered in freckles... And strange black markings, symbols, all over her skin. She smiles. )

Has anyone else ever had an experiences with fairies before coming here?

[Well helloooo there, cute girl talking about supernatural things.]

I've had a number of experiences with them, myself.

[Such bullshit.]

At home, I run a delivery service specializing in the needs of supernatural beings. Vampires, werewolves, spirits, merfolk... [A chuckle.] Fae weren't the most common among my clientele, but they could certainly be some of my more, ah-- interesting customers.

[Guess who's had to sleep with hardware in his pockets to avoid certain fairy antics? This guy.]

[It's easy to tell she doesn't quite believe his claims, so he confirms,]

Merfolk. They aren't quite the same as traditional myth describes them, but it's what most of them prefer to be called.

[And he laughs again.]

Not as bad as a root canal, but... maybe getting a tooth pulled.

[After all, they were never really malicious like other creatures could be. But they could be major pains in the ass.]

Guess they were a bit more than mischievous, then?
