[The feed opens after this scene, as Zelos sets down his bag and accidentally causes the locket attached to open. They look to be in some area of the Station and Zelos is accompanied by what looks like grouchy black cat with a red scarf (who is no other than Mako who accidentally got turned into a cat by a feather). Also there's a baby dragon.]

Jeez- fine, Mako! I'll try! Stop giving me that look!

[Zelos sighs and tries to think how to do this. He's never actually tried to undo a curse or enchantment with magic before - he usually left that up to Raine. Just how was he supposed to do this? But he had to try something, so he makes a thinking noise for a moment before he snaps his fingers]

Okay, got an idea! Just hold still, okay? This takes concentration.

[He makes sure to be standing up so he can concentrate properly. Then, he starts channeling magic. Glowing light and glyphs appear around him. As he does so, water comes up from the ground, clean and sparkling with magic. The water starts to spin around the cat, until it forms a very large spinning bubble around him without getting him wet. Zelos meanwhile, looks like he's trying really hard to keep up concentration as he tries to recite the incantation he heard Raine say a lot]

Root of all creation...grant us the breath of- shit! Wait! That's the wrong one!

[And with that mess up, his concentration is broken. The glowing glyphs immediately dissipates and the sparkly water bubble? Well it immediately loses it's form and the water SPLASHES down on the cat. ]

MRRROOOOW!! [The cat freaks out, sneezing out a fireball in the process]

Whoa-! [Zelos jumps back away from the splashing water and FIRE, looking very startled]

...Oops?

Maybe my timing's bad, but I don't want to keep sitting around. The real question is how many days does it take to get to the Station by horseback? I mean if someone knows a faster way that'd be great, but I'm working with what I can find. ...and if anybody wants to come along, I wouldn't say no to some company.

I don't know; maybe it seems like a cop-out to be going somewhere else right now when people are actually putting in substantial effort.  Those shadow-things? I couldn't do anything to take them out, and it's not just about that. People are always talking about powers and magic and intergalactic travel and wars and worlds where being stuck like this isn't that uncommon but it's weird. It's so weird because home's pretty much lacking the whole war-and-supernatural-fantasy thing. I'm from New Mexico and I go to a public high school. Our biggest battles are championship basketball games against West High. The only time I've ever lost anything was losing an acting role to Troy and Gabriella. What does that say about me?

They keep saying that we're important and special and everything, but I'm not so sure I feel that way anymore. Maybe this is what it's like to be normal, but then that still doesn't answer the question of why I'm here.  …I'm not really sure what to do now. [There's a long pause. He's met with people like Lancelot who've given him some ideas and tools which is wonderful. Other people he's spoken with have also prompted ideas for him to think on, but it just doesn't seem like enough.]

Sorry, I'm not really expecting much of an answer. I'm just kind of thinking out loud, I guess. I'll figure something out.

...anyway! Besides that, I'm interested to see how many people are into the performing arts.  I'm talking singers, dancers, actors, musicians, everything. Actually, make that every form of art. Drawing, painting, you name it. I kinda work under the belief that art's still really important even while all of this is going on.

[Flora is outside, sitting on what appears to be a swing, but in place of chains are woven vines. As time passes, little flowers bloom along their length. The locket is not on her person, it hovers in front of her, and the view shows her wearing what look like a white overall dress over a pink top and work gloves. Several fairies are flying around her, braiding her hair, or sitting on either shoulder. She waves before gently taking hold of the vine chains.]

Hello everyone, I hope you're well.

[Her voice is more deliberate with the well wishes, and her smile is kind, knowing. A lot's happened--when isn't it--but she does hope everyone has come out of it for the better, somehow. It's no meaningless platitude.

She moves to put her finger to her lip, remembers she's wearing gloves and thinks better of it, and instead cants her head thoughtfully. Her voice is gentle and curious.]

There's something I've been wondering about for a while now, and don't quite seem to understand, just yet. [There is a slight upturn to her lips. She is a patient girl, but she can't say she likes not understanding things. It's what she always seeks to do, if she can.] I've heard of some things from other people that were kind enough to answer me [mostly kind, anyway. Zelos was a little rude.] but with so many people from so many places, I'm curious about the similarities and differences.

[She looks directly at the locket.]

What exactly is a God or Goddess? Or what would you say make one? The same with angels. Is this something that has some sort of set criteria or is it more malleable?

[One might notice that she doesn't ask about demons, but that's because she doesn't realise there's a need; they're the same as monsters to her.

Flora dips her head in thanks and smiles, once again.]

Please, I would very much like to hear what anyone has to say. Thank you.

[ The audio is short. ]

Those of you who went to Maupertis: What would you know of a prisoner that would be delivered to Reynard?

To those who visited the Unseelie dungeons in the retrieval of the Dara Sword:
What do you know of the prisoners kept within?

I may have news to share on it.

[ The audio-feed cuts off, but answers will come to those who ask ]

Private Video to Clarisse La Rue, Korra, John Grimm, and Nico DiAngelo

[ Kaldur's face is creased with concern ]

My friends, I have learned that High Queen Morla has set a bounty upon each of your heads, and presumably also your shards.

Korra, Grimm, I wish to discuss our plans to Redgate in light of this.

Nico and Clarisse, I ask that you use caution when traveling, if not for your own sakes, but for those who travel with you.

If I receive more news, I shall share it as soon as possible.

[Lancelot, standing on the edge of a riverbed, had traveled north after the battle for the Silmaril by himself. Realizing that it would have constituted a sort of abandonment of his post, he decided to let Ganondorf know what he was doing.]

Members of the Unseelie and Seelie courts. I have a warning for you. I, the Knight of the Lake, have been recruited to aid the Dryads of La Llorona in the defense of Fairy-held safe havens throughout the realm. As such, I will eliminate any enemy to them I come across. If you have information on those who threaten such realms, send messages to me. I will end such offenders.

That is all.

[Lancelot added a second message to Ganondorf, specifically.]

[PRIVATE/TEXT/TO: GANONDORF]

My lord. My true upbringing stems from the support of the fey. In this, I'm indebted to them to protect their lands and their well-being.

In this, I will be working to restore one of their Glens, so it may flourish in the wake of battles that had sundered it. Despite this, I will always be available for your sake. Please, do not hesitate to call upon my aid if necessary. My response will be ever swift.

[ Politics and wars are one thing, but magic is quite another; some thirsts aren't slaked so easily by squabbling imps and gaudy fabric. Knowledge is power, and power is every wizard's disease.

Felix is far more rumpled than he'd like, and that hair won't unfrizz any time soon, but the words come calm as day:
]

It seems we've all been busy, so I suppose I ought to be brief.

Magic. If you'll indulge the melodramatic imagery, it's as myriad as a hydra's necks, and almost twice as difficult to pin down. Any sort of rigorous survey seems better left for days without a pounding headache. Perhaps instead, we might just speak.

Tell me what you know about magic. Stories, facts, vicious gossip if you're so disposed. Magic brought us each here, so let us be kind guests and oblige it the conversation.

He flashes a wide, tired smile. ]

Unfamiliarity is quite acceptable. I'd just like to hear it from you.

[Aubri's bored.

It's also right around dusk and, in the background, is the sound of rain and thunder rumbling lowly and the occasional flash of lightning. He's grounded and traveling alone, so he's poking at the locket.]

[She hefts a rather large looking book onto the table in front of her, a bright smile laid upon her face.]

It seems my fortune that the High Queen of the Seelie Court has granted me a skill of this kingdom. I've been given an old tome of the previous potion master here, and while I have no knowledge of magic not witchcraft it seems my interest in alchemy, poisons, and antidotes may transcend realms.

[A hand smooths over pages as she begins to turn.]

I wish to do whatever I can to help those here, to both protect myself and do what I can for those who cannot. But as I said I've no great skill in magic. I have already met one kind witch here, and I must call upon the kindness of others to guide me. I will not squander this gift.

If there be any in either court with any knowledge in potion making, I would wish to speak with you. My thanks. [It's a noble bending of her head before she leans in to switch the feed off.]

[He might have thought to lock it if he hadn't been so excited with his news.]

Oh my god! Okay, okay. So maybe this place isn't so bad. I got magic. That's apparently my gifty boon thing for getting my ass handed to me by the invading hoard.

[He pauses, blinking and grinning down at the locket.]

I'm actually living a video game now. I feel like I just leveled up. Now all I need's a familiar. But look. Look!

[He waves around a staff, then points the locket at the books that had arrived with the staff, symbols emblazoned on them and looking exactly like what they were; spell books.]

Dude, I'm a freaking magician. Wizard? Sorcerer? I don't really know yet, but I can do stuff. See?

[He'd already poured through part of a book and had memorized one incantation. He repeated it, the tip of his staff glowing before the comforter on his bed caught fire.]

Oh... uh, no. No, shit. No, wait I didn't, hey! Hey! Stop. Finito! FLAME OFF! FLAME! OFF!

[He drops the locket and the staff and goes to pull the comforter off to toss in the fireplace. Have fun watching that debacle.]

[Flora is primly seated with her back straight and resting against a tree.]

Hello everyone and good day to you. For those that don't know it, my name is Flora. It's very nice to meet you and I really hope you're well, especially after what's happened. [She dips her head in greeting, and there is a gentle attentiveness to her eyes as she broadcasts; her words and concern are not surface pleasantries.]

I'll get right to it: I know that some of us were stranded following the mission, so if you need a lift, I'd be more than happy to help bring you back. I do understand wanting to take the scenic route, though; getting the lay of the land is rather important, too. There's a lot out there that's very interesting. [Her eyes light up and her smile widens for a long moment.] Like, there are so many wonderful plants here, I can hardly believe it. I--I am about to get carried away, pardon me.

[There's a delicate noise as she raises a fist and clears her throat. She smiles anew and sincerely, but not quite so wide this time and there's something almost anxious about it, like she wants to say something else, but the moment passes because she wills it to. This isn't the time to share, yet, but maybe she can meet somewhere in the middle.]

(OPEN TO ALL)

I am curious, though, if you feel comfortable answering. How many of you come from worlds with magic? How many of you don't?

Anyway, I thank you for your time. Please, take care.
