fifth bull ( video )
[Her time since arriving back in Caer Glaem has not been well. Wrought with emotions that feel empty and a bitterness that will not subside easily, Lucrezia seeks comfort in the words of others since she knows she is not the only one who has left family behind.]
It seems the world continues to move on here with no caring for our own effects back home. [There is a bitter taste in her mouth again. She questions internally what she can even do here, when so much from home consumes her.] I ask how a mother can forget her child back home? How can one forget the sins of another? And yet, things remain here. We are shardbearers, fighting in this war.
And yet, I feel changed. I feel loss that this place cannot heal.
[She looks away. The only thing that plays in her mind is the words of Lord Fortuna.]
Perhaps I will visit Treun again. Where last has Reynard been seen? I had to flee the city last time, and I would rather not replay that scene.
