[Guess who has two thumbs and is getting a handle on "fairy," technology. This guy. There's some rifling, and a brief shot of his face before he manages to get the damn thing figured out. Once he has the thing zero in on what he assumes is a reasonable view of him head on based on the image he's seeing he clears his throat.]

Okay. Probably pointless, but new recruit here and I'm as pro-rights as the next guy but when I got the memo that I'd be waging war on behalf of fairies this isn't exactly what I anticipated.

I don't think it's even possible to get in touch with people at home, or ... in touch with anyone who's outside of this world, honestly. If your friends aren't here, they just aren't. Nothing we can really do about it besides wait.

[ clarisse is trying her best not to laugh, honestly. getting enlisted by fairies isn't really the strangest thing that's ever happened to her, so, you know. she's pretty chill with it. a war is a war, anyway, even if she'd like to get back to her own war back home. if she's stuck here and there's shit to fight, she might as well fight it, for the good of the realm or not. ]
