[Tauriel tilts her head a little, unsure if she caught that flicker of emotion or not. She does not know him well enough to gauge his emotions and will not risk trying to assume she knew what he was thinking.]

I would like that very much. The lady Galadriel taught me a little while I was at the station. Basics of letters and such. [That was when she could sit still.] I fear I am a poor student. I do not take well to sitting still for long.

[She flashes him another grin.]

I think perhaps if we had a bard like you while I was growing up, I might know my histories better. I was always more interested in other things.

[She remembers well running off to climb trees or to hide from her lessons. And also the wrath of the king for missing them.]

I imagine you tried to be elsewhere when they fought. Arguments can be terrible things.
