The hawk is quite noticeably missing a few feathers.]

If anyone has a hound and would be so kind as to escort me back to my chambers, I would be forever grateful.

[Her words sound the same as ever, language fitting of a highborn lady. But there's a little quiver to her voice too. The feeling of being hunted will do that to you.]

I also have gold, if that's more to your liking.

[Because sometimes (most of the time) gratitude only gets you so far.]

In the meantime, he kneels next to a hound that he'd collected two days ago, when simple yelling the names of the creatures wasn't enough.]

[At times like this, he can't help but think about Yfandes. She would have crossed the distance without any trouble whatsoever. But Vanyel isn't blessed with her speed. He stretches out his legs to lengthen his strides, his Heraldic Whites - newly cleaned - practically glowing when any source of light touches them.]

[That glow makes him easy to spot, a beacon. The knight on a white horse isn't an idea that's unknown on her world, and he has the same effect.

Margaery hurries the rest of the way to his side.]
