Sounds like a combination of Zeus and Poseidon's blessings on their children. Jason's really good at using wind and electricity, but his sister, Thalia, prefers to use electricity. Percy can control water and I think storms, but on a smaller scale than what Poseidon can do.

Do the tattoos help you with channeling? Or are they just an indication that you use magic?
