Even crushed skulls seem to heal in time, though such severances are slower to heal than others. Any complete severance causes a creature to regenerate from both creatures, much like the echinoderms... starfish and their like, of the oceans.

A more direct attack at the root of the spinal cord may help in slowing them, however. I shall spread it among the others and test to see if any appreciable difference can be achieved.
