I saw a couple of them acting particularly vicious earlier today. I though maybe they were just premenstrual. [Yeah, he's being rude for rudeness' sake there. He's not even sure imps are sexually differentiated. It's not like he's gotten close enough to check.] But if they're acting up at the castle, too, maybe there's something more to it.
