She hasn't given him any reason to be thankful yet: she's certainly not found Snow, and she doesn't expect to do so. She's given him nothing, and there's no reason for her to be thanked. ]

I'm sorry. [ She says it without meaning to say it. ] Two years is about the same as it was for me. You... ought to see if you or someone else can find a shard where she was last seen. A small one, from a green gemstone. If you can, then you'll know she won't be found no matter how hard you look, and at least you'll not be left wondering.
